“Comfortable and spacious place to explore the area”
Reviewed 8 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Brodog Court. This time there were four adults staying for a few days, and two for the whole week. There was plenty of room for us all to chill out. The flat has all the amenities we needed, with comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen - though we chose to eat out rather than cook. Brodog Court is in an ideal situation to walk to all the facilities in both Upper and Lower Fishguard, with beautiful scenery on the coast path between. Jenny and Neil have created a real home from home so we have all returned from our holiday feeling relaxed. Definitely a place to return to, as there are so many places we did not get around to exploring.

“Very Comfortable & Well Appointed Town House in Good Location”

My Partner and I booked Brodog Court for a long weekend break in October, principally as a part of her recuperation from a cycling accident.
As a a couple, this town house exceeded our requirements as it could easily accommodate six people but its location in the centre of Fishguard suited us well ,with easy access to shops, restaurants and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and it was reasonably priced.
We very much appreciated the comfortable master bedroom, the very well equipped kitchen and the generally light and airy ambience of all rooms. We particularly liked the decor , the excellent lighting options and the well thought out provision of electrical socket outlets. The central heating system was easy to operate and control, as were all appliances this being facilitated by a very comprehensive set of guides and instructions for all aspects of the property. We have commended this property to friends and would certainly return ourselves. The owners were very courteous and helpful throughout the booking process and clearly take a justifiable pride in what they have achieved in the development of Brodog Court

Liked best: The Comfort and Standard of Decor and Facilities
Liked least: Nothing to criticise. The property is set out on three floors so it may niot suit people with some disabilities

“Perfect”

Everything was perfect for our needs. The house is spotless and comfortable; with two bathrooms which really suited us, as there were five in our group.
The owner is so helpful and friendly, and even posted my son's shirt back when he left it there by mistake.
The house is a stone's throw from the town centre so really convenient , if you've travelled there by train: but there is parking outside if you've driven. There's a supermarket round the corner, which is open till late and very useful as we arrived in the evening after a long journey.
I would highly recommend this holiday rental.
Thank you, Jenny!

“Amazing luxurious retreat”

Stayed here with family for a week long holiday. The house is gorgeous, muted tones promote a relaxing atmosphere. Very well equipped with all mod cons. Private parking for one car, easy parking on street if more of you. 5 mins from coastal path, 10 mins from old town, 5 mins from shops. Very reasonable for quality of accommodation you get- will return!

“Wonderful comfortable base for exploration and relaxation!”

Brodog Court has clearly been planned by Jenny and Neil with the practical needs of holidaymakers in mind. Well laid out and thoroughly well-equipped (including picnic things and a sensible sized fridge/freezer), it really is a home from home. We particularly appreciated the provision of a travel cot, high chair and bath seat for the baby as well as a step and potty for the toddler. The washing machine was a welcome addition too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and (given the weather in Wales), the collection of DVDs and board games would make even wet days bearable - though we were lucky enough not to have any. The layout of the house means that there is ample space for families, but at the same time it is cosy enough for couples.

The property is centrally located in the upper town in Fishguard with easy access to the beautiful cliff walk close by, and the comprehensive file of information provided in the property described local facilities like chemists and supermarkets as well as asking visitors to include their own recommendations which we found really useful. Jenny personally recommended local restaurants which were excellent when we tried them (Bar 5 for tapas and the Globe for a HUGE Sunday lunch). Local beaches which we particularly liked are Newgale and Broad Haven, while Newport Sands is good for people with access issues as you can drive onto the beach. Foodies should hop down the coast to St David's for delicious seafood and ice cream (we ate at the The Bishop and had ice cream from the Maison Chocolat after) and there is great fish and chips at Something's Cooking in nearby Letterston. Folly Farm was a good family day out.

The booking process was straightforward, the communication from the owners was both friendly and timely and the property was spotlessly clean when we arrived. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in the area - it's excellent value for money, and makes a great base for people wishing to explore this gorgeous area both for short or long breaks. I hope to return.

“Fabulous property in an excellent location!”

Jenny and Neil have created a perfect 'home' in which to stay on the Pembrokeshire coast! The property is wonderful: the furniture and décor create a bright, cosy feel, as well as being modern and tasteful; all that one might need (and more!) is in the cupboards and drawers, and is of excellent quality; the location is ideal for exploring the coast and inland area and this pretty, and in places stunning, part of Wales. Throughout, Jenny made the booking process simple, efficient and friendly, so we were not surprised that everything worked so seamlessly, from start to finish. We can highly recommend Brodog Court; we have no doubt other holiday makers will enjoy themselves as much as we did!
