“Nature at its best”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

Arrived at the park and were greeted in both languages. The guide was very helpful in helping us decide which trails would be the best for retirees and she was correct. Our hike took us through the woods then beside the Mersey River and the falls. People are allowed to swim in the waters but NO DIVING. Plenty of room for a picnic and the paths are fairly wide to allow for criss-crossing traffic. The scenery was beautiful, the overhead canvas of trees eliminated the use of a hat for the sun. Plenty of spots to stop, rest and just listen to the sound of the river flowing and the falls. Bring comfortable walking shoes as sandals/flip-flops could be a problem. Enjoyed this site enough to return next year with the grandchildren. It is also a National Historic Site.

“Great Place For a Hike”
Reviewed 3 August 2012

We really like the Seaside Adjunct. Lots of interesting trails to hike on and if you're really brave a great beach to swim from. Always well maintained and easily walked in a few hours or less.

Recommend beautiful walk to the seaside in the fall. Beach views of turquoise water incredible. During summer months beach is not open due to protection of nesting birds...
