It is a unique destination and collections of ancient Myanmar Architecture.Enjoy sunset along Ayeyarwaddy River while taking a boat. You can also go to viewing tower and feel the surprising bird eye view of throughout Bagan.

This place is a must see. Take your shoes off, climb a stupor and watch the hot air ballons rise with the sun. Booking a car through your hotel is easiest. A whole day takes it out of you so, i'd recommend going for sunrise one day and sunset the other. Its rather nice after a long day to go to the watch tower and see the sun go down.

We just came to baggan so see piece of history. The great thing is, that the temples are for free.. you dont need to pay for them except of those where they bring buses with tourist... we realy dont recommend doing those.. simply not worthy. Download maps.me to orient in area and see great info about temples in Area :) We had amazing time hanging around on the top of temples (Y)

Bagan is in a quite primitive state but possesses an unforgettable human heritage! In the city most streets are dirt tracks very dimly lit. You inhale a lot of dust anywhere you go but I would go again because for every site visited there's at least two or three unseen.

At first we didn't realise how special this place is. But once we really got to see the temples from an elevated view, just wow. Especially in low season. The best part is that every visitor must drive an e- scooter which makes for a very peaceful environment.
