Planned to have a quick early lunch and arrived at around 11AM. We were welcomed by all of the staff in the dining area. We ordered pakbet, crispy ribs and fried hito, the server showed some inexperience in taking our orders and did not even make any recommendations. But the food was so good that we were happy with the entire experience. We even tried to play the available board games for free!

Kudos to you Green Olive Cafe, we will visit your place again soon.

I was afraid we would have to eat at one of the fast food places and was delighted to spot this gem on the right side of the road heading toward Tagaytay. I don't remember exactly how close it was but we made the trip out to the lake and volcano, hiked up and back and still arrived at the Green Olive by 2:00 for a late lunch. We were all ready for western foods. Everything was fresh and delicious and the cafe was clean and well-lit.

Their signage saying "Make us your first stop to Tagaytay" somehow caught my attention and did stop by. Restaurant is nice and clean and everything in the menu was available as early as 8am. We had breakfast and ordered spaghetti bolognese and smoked boneless bangus. Spaghetti was had a generous amount of ground beef and was tasty. Bonelass bangus was not boneless at all and when we mentioned it to the staff, they readily offered another food as replacement, which would speak well of how well they maintain quality of their food.

When we visited Green Olive we were expecting just another Tagaytay Hotel. We were wrong, yes they had the same dishes and yes it was the same cool breeze but they had something that made it better than the rest.

This restaurant had an amazing staff who offers amazing service. The attention to detail was impressive. They were attentive to all of our needs. They even had our Siningang in a portable heater so it will stay warm.

Kudos to the Reymark Dejon and his team! We already shared our experience with all of our friends and we will definitely be back again.
