At first we planned to stay at Elephants End for 4 nights and move to another hotel in the area/on some island, but we loved it and decided to stay for 4 more. We have checked nearby hotels - nothing compares (even more expensive) in terms of room (we had with king bed and additional bed. #2). As we took the room not facing the street it was quiet. Of course at hotel surroundings are nicer and some of them have pools, but when you see the room you will sleep in - we have not found anything like this room for even 2x the price.

As for attractions - you can rent motorbike at Elephants End and travel around. Lots of fun! Tiger's cave worth visiting and climbing. Just 10 minutes drive to Ao Nang and Krabi with shops and diving centers. You can also rent long tail boat and reach nearby islands from the beach near Elephants End hotel. Really worth 2500-3000 bahts for private long tail boat for a day.

Across the street there is quite good beach, but you need to check for the tides (fortunately internet is free at Elephants End). When the tide is low - the beach does not look like in exotic photos :) On some days we just rented motorbikes and travelled to Tub Kaek beach (really nice, 5km from hotel).

Staff was really friendly and helpful all the time. Only warmest memories from stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms not facing street are really quiet at nights.

What an absolutely delightful guesthouse! After arriving in the evening, I was welcomed by everyone and given a room key straight away. Super friendly place, and the room is stunning! Spacious with cool bright decor, everything you could need including kitchen area and a large balcony. A lovely surprise - will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We walked in Elephant's End for a pre-dinner drink and ended up spending the night. What a nice little restaurant with superb food. The owner miss Elaine is cooking terrific western food as Chicken Stilton and walnut sauce and a Sirloin au poivre cooked to perfection. Elephant's End Thai kitchen is to die for.... Tiger Prawns with curry and a outstanding Tom Yam Ghoong.
Elephant's End a must go!
A asset, always parking space!!

Elaine is a fabulous hostess who made us so welcome that we felt 'at home' straight away. She organised a wonderful boat trip and provide a delicious lunch. The guesthouse is immaculately clean and is full of personal, quirky touches that separates it from the rest. Would definitely return, a truly amazing place, just across the road to the beautiful beach with an array of interesting watering holes.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front as they overlook the sea

The guesthouse is tastefully decorated throughout. It is clean and well maintained. The front room has a balcony making the room extremely light and airy.
Elaine makes the most beautiful food, even accommodating the most fussy eaters..and lots of veggie options.
She arranged a fantastic boat trip and made us lunch for the boat. A must do for any visitor to Krabi.
Just a walk across the road and you are on the most beautiful beach with rustic beach bars, the sea only metres away.
Always a brilliant hostess, Elaine made us feel very welcome.
Will definitely return!

Room Tip: Try and get the front bedroom with the balcony!
