We stayed here as a base during our business trip to Wellington.
Very comfortable with wonderful welcome at Reception. Made us feel nothing too much trouble they really go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Lots of great places to eat within 5 minute walk and easy access to the CBD via bus and/or train links - no need for the expense of a hire car unless you really want to!
Wonderful view over the seafront plus a spa bath to relax and cooking facilities too.
Totally recommend to all as the best place to stay in Wellington!

Just a short stopover for business - very impressive standard.
Modern, clean, comfortable - everything you need. Just a short walk to a great selection of cafes, restaurants and some quirky shops.
Check in and check out service great, a selection of books and DVDs to choose from, and good security.

We stayed here two nights at the end of February in a room with a sea view and a spa. The room was well set up with a quality bed and lots of nice touches. We had a private balcony with a full view of the sea and it was very pleasant sitting outside enjoying the view in the evening. The biggest plus is the couple who run this establishment who made us feel very welcome and are excellent hosts. The breakfast provided was of a very high standard. The walk to the train station is around 20 minutes mostly along the sea front and trains to Wellington are very frequent. This makes this hotel a much better option than staying in central Wellington as the value provided even when taking the train fare into account is far superior.

Room Tip: Upstairs with a sea view

Our beachfront spa bath studio was immaculately clean and spacious with views over Petone Esplanade. Everything in the room was so well presented and it was walking distance to the restaurants on Jackson Street.
Definitely the best and cleanest motel we stayed at. The hosts were super friendly.
