Our experience first started with our fridge not functioning properly. When we approached the owner Judy, her response was " well, give it some time and maybe a few shakes and kicks to get it going. I just plugged it in before you came." The owner was not very helpful and wanted to blow us off. After 2 hours of my food sitting in coolers and waiting, my husband had to plug it in and unplug it a number of times and the compressor finally kicked in. NICE! In the mean while, we are trying to settle in to a place that was dirty, the indoor/outdoor blue carpet stunk and was filthy. The beds are low to the ground, old and have bedding on them that is 30 years old with curtains to match. The floors are beat up, screens off the windows and the dishes/utensils look like they were bought from the salvation army along with the above mentioned bedding. Right down to the leaking coffee pot and the fans that fall apart when you try to use them. The door handles are broken, the window coverings are from the 90"s ( blue plastic veriticles), the furniture in general looks like second hand purchases. When I went to check the bedding as I always do in rented places, there were no sheets on one of the beds. Not once did the owners come to check on his guests. I now write a review about this place with some kind of bite marks that both my son and I got from the beds at night. Initially thought they were mosquito bites, but these are no way mosquito and will have to go to the clinic to have them checked out. Had to take all my clothing to a laundry mat to clean because I do not want to bring this into my home. My husband took pictures of all the disgusting things that we saw. I have never stayed in such a disgusting place in my life. They call these chalets. What a joke and abuse of the word.
