Awesome week of serenity!!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 27, 2018via mobile
We just spent a week at Inverness Falls Resort. We chose this resort as it is pet friendly and we wanted to take our Lab with us. Being able to do this added to our enjoyment. We were in cabin 10 which is set in the forest. What a relaxing, peaceful setting. The cabin is well kept, comfortable with everything we needed plus a wood stove with firewood supplied by Judy & Stu. This made for several cozy evenings! The heated bathroom floor was so nice first thing in the morning, love it! There are several trails to follow, or just walk the area to check out the cottages. Sunsets In the evenings were awesome on the glass like Lake.
This is a family operated resort which runs like a fine tuned clock! Kudos to all!! Judy, Stu & girls work hard to make your stay an experience you won’t
forget!!

Would we recommend this resort? YES!
Would we go again? YES!

Thank you Judy & Stu! Look forward to next time.

Arnold & Elaine

We loved Inverness falls. The cabins are rustic but that's part of the charm of this place. It's located in a beautiful spot right on the lake. We were greeted with a plate of freshly baked cookies. They even had cookies for our dog. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their resort. Our cabin (#6) had a fireplace and a hot tub in our living room, plus lots of other appreciated amenities. We felt spoiled. I thought the price was very fair and would recommend it to others.

I have been on the lake for years - have gone to Inverness many times. Always a great food experience. Also, had friends stay there, eat there - and everyone has has a great experience. In terms of Manitoba rural lake resorts - very well done. You won't find a "fancy" lake in Manitoba.
Oh and btw - the colour of the lake has been the case forever. Kind of the colour of tea. We actually have a cocktail called "Brereton Lake Water"

The brown water ruined it for me... who wants to get into a hot tub with brown water? Ick... Not to mention the hot tub is supposed to circulate the hot water but it was coming out cold in the jets and we had to have the hot water running to keep it at a decently warm temperature. And the no visitors policy? I get keeping it quiet but when your paying $375 for two nights, why would you not be able to invite a couple of people for a barbeque? That's just wierd...

I am so sorry the water color spoiled your stay with us.
We get the water from the Lake. It is treated; and test regularly to ensure it's save for our guests.
There is a color, a result of tannin; similar to the way tea get's it's color.
The color changes throughout the year depending on the amount of water running down into the lake from the forest.

Regarding our Weekend Visitor policy: it has been put in place to ensure a quiet relaxing stay on weekend for all of our guests. We advertise this policy on our site and in our confirmation information; so if guest wanting to be with friends on the weekends they will book the two bedroom options. If they are looking for some private quiet time they will want something just for two to enjoy.

Beautiful weekend at the resort. Quiet and peaceful. The owners are very personable, friendly, and helpful. Had a lovely fire in the fireplace to relax to after a hike through the trails. We will be back

I planned a weekend get away for my boyfriend's birthday at this resort. We stayed in Cabin #5. The cabin was clean, the resort is quiet and we had an amazing view of the river from the back deck. The owners are also very friendly and we greatly appreciated the kind hospitality. We definitely plan to return here in the winter and bring our children.
