Weekend getaway

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jun 15, 2021
Cabin #7 Was booked as we have a little dog that we brought with us. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Inverness Falls. The Hosts are friendly and accommodating ! We did lots of walking, relaxing on the deck with a little hot tub. The weather was great Although a little windy but that certainly kept the bugs away! We watched movies, made great meals I just enjoy the solitude and quietness of the area. Accommodations are good. The bed was very comfortable and had lots of hot water!
The buildings etc. could certainly use a little bit of an update. Understandably very expensive to do this. But everything was clean with lots of supplies to make your stay more than enjoyable!! Thank you for a great weekend!

Just returned from a lovely winter getaway at Inverness Falls resort. Booked luxury cabin 2, with an indoor hot tub and wood burning stove, The cabin was just as we thought and viewed in photos on the website. We were able to easily access some walking trails nearby and enjoy nature. Our cabin overlooked the falls and I'm sure it would be so nice to come back in the summer or fall to see it. The resort supplies bird seed which you can use in the feeder just outside your patio doors. Spent many hours reading and watching many birds come by for a feeding. I would definitely recommend the resort, very friendly lady at the office(Judy).

Amazing experience! My wife and I rented cabin 3 for 5 nights. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Hot tub in the cabin was amazing. The free canoe, kayak, peddle boats, and mountain bikes were all great. The views were awesome. Coffee by the falls every morning. Fire by the river and falls at night and then a hot tub before bed couldn’t ask for a better experience. Stu, Judy and family were all very friendly and amazing to deal with. Highly Highly recommend them.

Given the COVID-19 situation of 2020, my girlfriend and had to cancel our trip south of the border and looked inside Manitoba vacation for a lovely May long weekend. We booked at Inverness Falls Resort, where I had stayed many years ago. It was a very peaceful trip and a lovely cabin to stay. We were not expecting much, thinking quite rustic, but the cottage was more than we hoped for. We loved the hot tub after our long hikes along the Amisk Trail and other locations around Whiteshell Provincial Park.

The owners and their family were lovely folks and always accommodating for us. Some people who are used to five-star hotel treatment may not like the accommodations, but for us it was exactly what we needed. We loved being so close to the forest in nature and loved the sound of the falls so near our cabin. It was also a great site for a evening fire to just relax.

There are tons of amenities on site for clients to use, including bikes, canoes, paddles boats, and other outdoor games. We enjoyed a lovely evening canoe down the river, during the day we rented the little 9.9hp boat and went fishing and read on the lake, even catching a little dinner. All in all our stay was everything we hoped for and we would like to be back again for a weekend stay. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
