The cottage was perfect for our family. The rooms were clean and airy, and the location was amazing - right there on the broads, with bars and boats within an arm's reach. The dining table on the waterfront was a particularly lovely place to eat a family meal or to feed the swans.
First class accommodation, spotlessly clean, no expense spared, excellent retreat.
I went with family and friends and we all throughly enjoyed our break the cottage has a brilliant outside decking with comfy chairs and table where we spent most of our time talking, laughing, eating and drinking the odd glass of prosecco. Highly recommended and would definitely return.
Location in Wroxham is central to all the local amenities, my fist impression was just how well prepared the cottage was, welcoming its guests with a welcome pack, the detail in the bedrooms with the fresh bathrobes, quality towels, it was the attention to the small details that made our stay special. The entire cottage was spotless and a well appointed kitchen allowing us to serve ourselves made it a memorable stay.
Wroxham has a lot to offer potential visitors from quiet walks with your dog along the river to the many boat trips on the broads available. We will use this cottage again.
My husband and I had a fabulous 2 week stay in May. We had stress free parking enough for 2 cars.Excellent location with Broad views to the front and rear with daily visits from the swans and ducks and their families. Located within walking distance to amenities and attractions. (Boat hire and trips).
On arrival a great feeling of cleaniness and comfort with a very appreciated welcome pack including flowers and wine.
We appreciated the quiet location and enjoyed the outside decking area to watch the slower pace of the world going by.The facilities were exceptional during our stay we had everything we needed plus more.Loved the soft towels and bathrobes.Very comfortable beds with a view from every room. We will definitely return.
We have stayed here twice.now. its a lovely ckean and welcoming cottage with everything you could need. Home from.home. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and nothing too much trouble. Ticks all thr boxes.
I genuinely don't know where to start. This is, without a doubt, the nicest place I have stayed in and I have stayed in some nice places. When you are arrive you are met by a stunning welcome pack which includes flowers, prosecco, milk, bread, sugar and lots of tea and coffee. The place is toasty warm with the heating set on a generous timer that can be overrode if you ever need it - we never did.
The Cottage has all mod cons including a dishwasher, washer dryer, combi microwave and a wireless dyson which made vacuuming fun. Though the real favourite was definitely Sky Q and all the movies and box sets that were available for those cold evenings in.
The cottage is decorated to a high standard and all beds were really comfortable. The beds had lovely clean bedding and the cleanliness of the whole place was exceptional. I really couldn't find anything to fault. I want to say that it is truly a home from home, but I would be lying because it's even nicer than my own home!!!
Finally the location is perfect with views of the broads both front and back, a 10 minute walk into Wroxham /Hoveton where adventures wait with the Bure Valley Railway and Boat rides on the Broad, it was a lovely holiday even in the middle of a wet and cold February.
We had stayed in this cottage many times before as the size and location was perfect for our family, but it was becoming in need of some serious TLC. The refurbishments carried out by the new owners have totally transformed it. It was so warm and inviting on arrival (important in December), everywhere was fresh and clean and practically all you could need was supplied. A great improvement and we look forward to visiting again.
