Our short break (too short -4 days) started by being met at the airport in a VIP shuttle car by a charming gentelman who didn't mind that our flight was late and he had been waiting for over 1/2 hour for us. When we arrived at the hotel we immediately felt welcome (thank you Claus) with a glass of bubbly and a tour of the hotel before being shown to our room and informed that we had been upgraded x 2 to a lovely suite which was all anyone could have wished for. Thanks too to Marselle who was also very attentive and welcoming.
It just got bettter and better, the staff in reception are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and when ever they greet you it is with a smile, they are more than helpful and Lisa made herself available to show us several different rooms so that we could compare options for a future visit. We were already hooked!! Then there was the restaurant! Wow, on our first evening we did not have a window seat but we spoke to the 'Maitre d' Mateaus and he found us a lovely table which we had for the rest of our stay. Mateaus and his team work extremely hard to make sure that everyone is looked after, our waiter Herbert couldn't have been more attentive as were the rest of the restaurant staff and it was a pleasure to eat in the restaurant where the food was varied and presented beautifully.
The spa area is the most beautiful spa that I have seen anywhere, the indoor and outdoor pool areas are immaculate and there are lots of lovely little extras that the family have included without extra charge i.e. happy feet, complimentary snacks and drinks around the indoor pool area. The treatments are extensive although we didn't have any on this occasion there are enough to suit everyone.
My 1 critisism of the hotel is that although the hotel advertise that they welcome dogs, ( we like dogs ) the owners and dogs are given a separate area in the restaurant which unfortunately sends out the message to guests that dogs are welcome in the whole restaurant. While we were there 1 lady with a white dog kept taking her dog into the area where the salad buffet was and for us this did not seem acceptable and could put a lot of people off from returning. I would suggest that the hotel whilst encouraging dogs to stay should not encourage dogs any where near food areas as dog smells are not very pleasant and don't mix with fine dining. I am sure that a dog could manage for a couple of hours in the bedrooms without the owners.
Having said that, my husband and I would like to thank the Seyrling family and all the staff for a wonderful stay. When we left we were given a beautiful cushion to bring home (another thoughtful touch) and one of many lovely memories that we will keep with us until we return in 2013 for our Ruby wedding anniversary.
Thanks everyone
Lynne and Tony xxxx

Room Tip: all rooms are different, courtyard rooms are quieter I would suggest

We stayed here for 2 nights from 1st Sept to 3rd Sept 2011, I was with my wife and my 10month old baby.
The property is great. Nicely made, has all facilities, great jacuzzi and indoor & outdoor pool. Kids area, great spa's.
Very nice welcome at the station and at the hotel.
Very friendly staff i must say. Showed us the hotel facilities and restaurants before showing us the room.
Breakfast and dinner had good varieties.
If i come back to seefeld, would definitely stay in this hotel!!!!
Thanks

Perfection doesn't exist.
We ate every evening in the hotel, it was good, sometimes excellent. However, the service at dinner was very slow. The staff was very friendly, but made some mistakes. Nothing against dogs, but there were too many in the house. Why is it allowed to smoke in the reception/lobby/bar and lounge area? This is a real pity. The fitness area is small and far too warm to exercise in Summer. By chance Seefeld is a good spot to run and bike, so that we were not penalized to do our sport activities. Our room ("Royal" category) was comfortable wit a nice balcony overlooking the garden. We had a nice view over the mountains and no noise at night. WC was separated. Nevertheless, our bathroom was two small and a bit inconvenient for a shower.
We spent 8 nights at the Klosterbrau and we enjoyed our stay very much in spite of all these imperfections. This historic house is nicely decorated and provides the romantic atmosphere we were looking for. The location in the heart of the Seefeld's pedestrian area is just perfect. Food was good and the selection at breakfast large. The new spa area offers nearly everything you could wish. Easy-going atmosphere more than uptight ambiance: we had no complication during our stay and we felt that problems were easily solved.
You can expect a unique atmosphere due to the special architecture, the beautiful decoration and the friendliness of the family Seyrling: special touches you rarely find!

We stayed at the Klosterbrau for a week at the beginning of July for the second time and it was everything I remembered. The service is exceptional, the food fantastic and with the new spa area and development outside this is a relaxing luxury hotel.

The new spa has everything you would wish for, and the relaxation rooms and different sauna's mean you can try something different each day.

We look forward to returning next year.

I went to the Hotel Klosterbräu with my boyfriend for 10 days, and i have to say that it was one of the best holidays i have ever had. The staff was really friendly and courteous (they new my name after 1 hour!!!) , the host family charming and the rooms and amenities in the hotel are beautiful. The new Spa area is the most unique i have ever seen. They have a really nice big indoor pool and the new outdoor pool should be finished in summer 2011, so we are looking forward coming back in summer. We enjoyed the different saunas and made some relaxing treatments. Seefeld itself is a charming little town where you can ski, relax, hike, have a drink and spend a lot of time together. The locals where really helpful and friendly.
All in all we can say that we will come back for our next summer holiday, of course it was a little bit expensive but it was definitely worth it.

First of all, I must say that we didn't choose by ourselves to stay in this Hotel. We were guests and came to support our national skiers on "FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2011" in Garmisch Partenkirchen. So, we came without any expectations of the hotel but just wishing that we could have possibility to skii a bit. It turned out that Hotel is really cosy, not tipical modern five star Hotel. I would even dare to say that is a hidden gem.The food is great (buffet breakfast, slow food dinner -really tasty, creative choice, ..), Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean. Hotel has a nice SPA, so anyone wishing to relax can really enjoy. As I said before , we came to skii and to support our national skiers in Garmisch (which is cca 30-45 min from Seefeld by car) and in relation to that, Seefeld is definitely not skiing destination (at least for us) but you can't be bored with day or two skiing in Seefeld or Garmisch. I saw also a lot of people hiking on ski slopes. Now, back to hotel, it is really great place to stay and relax, nice stuff who really did the effort to make us feel welcomed. I liked Hotel's effort for personalized approach ( bath coats with our names on badges attached, little heart with a Hotel name as gift on departure, postcard ("as a "thank you letter") from hotel waited for us at home, ...and so on). All in all, the Hotel is great but for longer staying, I would rather choose some other location/place. ( it doesn't have anything with a hotel)
