We enjoyed the interesting wines of Navarra, a less famous wine region. The Rosado Lagrimas is so special we took two bottles back to the USA.

Most of Ochoa's wines are not yet imported to the US, but several are represented by a New Jersey importer. I knew I liked what was imported and was anxious to try what was kept for Spanish distribution. Mr. Ochoa is mostly retired and his oldest daughter is experimenting with her own style of wines. Frankly, I think they are better than the more traditional styles. There is a slight tasting charge, but the wines are maybe 30% the cost we would pay in the US.
