We made an open table reservation for 8/23. Upon arrival we were turned away because I was wearing dress shorts.
SLACKS only we were told, which is fine but shpuld be noted in BOLD when making reservations.
So we were turned away and walked across the street to the Palms where my attire was fine and the meal was great

Birthday behavior was fabulous! Surrounding area obviously fabulous. Expensive shopping & music is my kind of fun. Okay! The food was just right, the scenery was smooth. The waiter was very attentive. He consistently kept asking how was things & refilling our drinks. So, yeah, great customer service. We had an early reservation so we could have some quiet time to talk and enjoy each other’s company before the crowds. He ordered the lamb, which he enjoyed he couldn’t stop taking bites & he’s not a big eater. He expressed how delicious his lamb was. I ordered a small salad along with their macaroni ‘vegan’ option. Their bread was delicious also. I think I got more full off the bread than my actual meal. We even ordered a second round of bread. Yeah, that’s how good just the bread was. 😂 your experience can add up to a large bill. A couple could spend at least $200 or so for their meal depending on their choice of dish & drinks. Mastro’s is not too cheap! Don’t expect to pay P.F. Chang’s price. Of course, you must take a picture in front of their sign. 😂 we will definitely return. Good spot!

This is a cracking place with loads going on and clearly frequented by the good and the great of BH. The steaks are magnificent and the accompanying live music and atmosphere enhances the whole meal experience and make this restaurant very special. I can’t fault the food, the wine is good but pricey, as are the cocktails. However as a total package it made for a great night. Book well in advance and take the credit card!

Overpriced, pretentious and not worth it. We had to return the food. Nice service. Beautiful place but over their head.

We eat at lots of steakhouses all over the country and this one did not disappoint!!! We loved the dark cozy atmosphere and live music/piano singer. The steaks were delicious and the Mac-n-cheese sides were the best we have ever had. The butter cake was delicious to top it off! Definitely a must place to eat in Beverly Hills!!!
