I don't know why anyone would want to stay at any other hotel in Los Angeles. It is perfect in every way. From the moment you step on the red carpet leading to the lobby, you feel like a movie star. The service is impeccable: from Brandon at the front desk, to Abbas and Mitchell at the concierge desk, to Ryan and Michael at the amazing pool and cabana area, to the valet attendants and the hostesses at the Polo Lounge, people are there to help make your stay the best that it can be. Everyone we passed who worked at the hotel said hello to us with a smile. When we were there, we attended an open event by the pool where a man sang Frank Sinatra classics and a group of women performed synchronized swimming. Also, the Hollywood Foreign Press Summer Luncheon was held at the hotel and my children got to see several actors like Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence walking through the lobby. Breakfast and lunch at the Polo Lounge is delicious (I recommend sitting outside on the patio) and if you want something light, there is an old fashioned coffee shop downstairs. There is even a piano player when you have drinks at the Polo Lounge at night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and they are in the midst of renovating them to match the lobby. We loved the location, the food, the atmosphere, seeing tons of stars and feeling as if you were staying at a special insider's club. We can't wait to go back!

Dear isalane23,

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. I will pass along your kind words to our team as they will be happy to see their five star service made a difference in your stay.

It is great to hear you were able to experience our Summer Poolside Soiree! Luca Ellis and the Aqualillies put on an amazing show and we are blessed to be able to give to such a great cause, Project Angel Food, a charitable organization that cooks and delivers free nutritious meals to men, women and children affected by life-threatening illnesses.

We are so happy you will be back to visit us again soon, we just hope it is sooner rather than later!

Warm regards,
Edward Mady

I stayed here with my husband and son for my birthday and it did not disappoint. It was fabulous, hands down one of the better hotel experiences I've had. I stayed here about 25 years ago and recall it as nothing special, not now. Lovely hotel. Hope to return soon.

We were very exhausted at the end of our long USA trip. This hotel was an unexpected pleasure. We booked a bungalow, which was very nice. The rooms were up to the top standard for a five-star hotel. The bedrooms were quite spacious and the living room was cosy. Even the fruits and drinks put in every room by default every day were quite good.

The concierges were very helpful, they tried finding us the best restaurants possible, but we fell so much in love with this hotel, that we didn't ever leave it for dinner, over our stay of 4 days.

The restaurant at the hotel is also up to the level. The service is very friendly and the food is fantastic. We especially liked the McCarthey Salad. The breakfasts here are also fantastic. Try the Strawberry banana smoothie here, if you do like smoothies you will love this one.

The park in which the bungalows are located isn't enormous, but the atmosphere it creates is magnificent. The more you walk there and breeze the clear Beverly Hills air the more you understand the famous people, who lived here for a good part of their lives.

The only place in the hotel that disappoints a little bit is the pool area. The cocktails in the bar, which we tried weren't as good as they could be and the area is less well thought of. There's not so much attention to details as everywhere. The homely feeling is a little less here, than anywhere else in the hotel.

To sum up, as rooms I recommend the bungalows. You won't feel the atmosphere unless you really have the immersion, which you can get only with the bungalow. It doesn't really matter where your bungalow is located, because all the spots are wonderful. I certainly do recommend you to visit the restaurant, not only for food, but to feel the spirit of the place, where so many famous people celebrated their Oscars.

Dear NL2012,

Thank you for your kind review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at The Beverly Hills Hotel. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. It is so great to hear you enjoyed the food and service you were provided at The Polo Lounge. We are sorry to hear that your experience at the pool was less than perfect. I am most grateful to you for taking the time to share this with us, as it is by means of such constructive feedback that we are able to improve the standards of service we offer our guests here at the Pink Palace.

We hope to welcome you back to the hotel again very soon in the near future.

Ive stayed previously at the Beverly Hills Hotel and always enjoyed it - it's an almost surreal experience as the hotel is from a previous era and retains that old feel but the lobby has been beautifully renovated to become more modern but remain old with a stylish Hollywood feel.
On earlier trips I stayed in the Hotel where the rooms are large and airy this time the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Bungalow which has a very different feel - much more private and intimate as the space feels smaller. Both options are great and the beds fantastic to sleep in it's own to your preference if you want to feel part of the action (book the hotel) or more private and exclusive (book a bungalow).
The breakfast menu had changed from our last visit and was undoubtedly the best breakfast we ate in 2 weeks across America - it rates as one of the best breakfasts we've ever experienced - try the Breakfast Burrito but go with an appetite. Service is charming, the Polo Lounge always interesting for people watching and there is nothing the Concierge Team can't make happen.
Great hotel

This hotel is a charming property with a great history that has been fully modernized and refreshed -- full five star+ standards with impeccable design. And the service is delightful. Car valets are american college kids which feels like a fun throwback. Polo lounge continues to deliver. Great stay.

Words cannot describe the sheer and utter quality of this magical establishment. From the moment one arrives at the 'Pink Palace' one is ushered away into a fairy-tale world where one's every need is tended for. What I find is so amazing is the fact that the hotel is inevitably in a town yet one feels far from that! It is only 2 minutes drive to Rodeo Drive yet one feels as if in a hidden sanctuary, far away from the hustle and bustle of LA and Beverly Hills. The staff are so friendly always willing to help, and always having a smile on their faces. Whenever I requested something, nothing was ever too much to ask for. For a wonderful break, I would definitely recommend the BHH!
