The hotel is conveniently located in Bridgeport near several restaurants and stores. The property is well-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and polite. The room was very reasonably priced.

Shower head mouldy so didn't use it. Someone else's rubbish in the shower soap tray Mould around the window frames. Curtains hanging off of the hooks. Bed was comfortable but road noise was loud.
Not enough utensils in the kitchen.

Friendly staff made checkin fast and easy. Even let me look at few rooms before deciding if we wanted to stay (I think my choices were for a room with country charm or hotel modern - we chose modern). Room was clean. The bed was comfy. The hotel was quiet. A few spots of peeling paint in the bathroom, but overall very nice

An older property but it was clean and looked to be maintained well. Edge of town by the road but didn't notice much traffic noise. The room size was fine and everything worked. The ppl at the desk, whether they're the owners or not, are friendly and courteous. Talk to him for awhile to ask about the area and he was helpful. A nice place that I was pleased with and would stay here again.

We stayed two nights in Bridgeport, one here and one at a different place. Both motels were similar in that they are old facilities that are being continually upgraded as time goes on but still show their age and both have similar costs and are promoted the same but only one actually pulled it off.....and that was the Redwood Motel.

At the Redwood the staff was very friendly and helpful, the grounds in good shape and the room though old was clean and in good shape with all new appliances. There was plenty of TV channels and decent WIFI in the morning but the WIFI was slow in the evening when everyone was using it. When staying in Bridgeport you have to remember that everything here is old and your expectations should take that into consideration as there are no modern motels or eating places all are locally owned one of a kind places, some good some not.

We have stayed at several other motels in Bridgeport and feel that this one gave us the best bang for our buck since some of the others can be pricey though just about everything in Bridgeport is pricey including gas and food. We won't hesitate to stay here again when in Bridgeport.
