Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs Resort

Attraction details
Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: This Napa Valley landmark soothes visitors through mud baths, steam rooms, massages and more. For 64 years and still family owned and managed, a visit to one of the few remaining family ventures is old school and good...We are real!

I went to Dr. Wilkinson's for my birthday and had a great time. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the staff in the spa were great. I do wish the towels were a little bit bigger and fluffier, but everything else seemed to overshadow that. I definately would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a mud bath and a massage for a resonalbe price

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Dr. Wilkinson's...the theraputic benefits of the mudbaths (my arthritic joints pulse in pure gratitude after 10 minutes in the mud), excellent massages (don't ask for David--he's the best and he's MINE!) are worth the price of admission alone...but wait, there's more.
The staff is friendly and helpful; we feel we are "family" when we check in. The rooms are comfy and cozy--there's fluffy robes, a mini-fridge and even a bottle opener attached to the vanity--an essential tool for professional beer drinkers as us, although I'm sure that's not what they meant when they told us to stay hydrated...
All rooms are non-smoking; there's a courtyard with tables and chairs for smoking "al fresco;" outdoor reading possibilities is what appeals to me.
There is a nice, warm indoor mineral pool and two outdoor mineral pools. There's a wonderful little market next door and various food possibilities within walking distance. There's even a bar or two.
I always recommend Dr. Wilkinson's to everyone...there are several "specials" offered year round; my husband and I routinely visit 4-5 times a year. It's affordable, comfortable, and the best way we've found to decompress and stay human.

My wife and I rediscovered Calistoga 7 years ago after we visited Dr Wilkinson’s Spa resort. We treasure the time spent in this beatiful and cozy resort. We always looking forward to the trip to Calistoga. We like the people there, especialy the mesus Mark Gray (who performs unbelivable massage) as well as all the girls who are working in the Spa. We are trying to visit resort at list three times a year. Thanks a lot for making our lives more restfull.
