My husband and I stayed at Meadowlark for our 15th wedding anniversary. From the moment of stepping onto this wonderful property, we were totally relaxed and felt completely at home. The facilities were perfect, but the breakfasts were to die for!! Our next trip to Napa will include a stay with Richard and Kurt!

I can't say enough positive things about Meadowlark, and it's gracious hosts, Kurt and Richard. This was the second time we visited in the past year, and this is about as perfect a place you can find for hospitality, and relaxation. The rooms are very clean, and spacious. We had the mountain view room. with enough space on the patio to host a dozen people. The pool and jacuzzi always had chairs available, and at times we had both to ourselves. We stayed two nights, and wanted to stay longer, but they were booked up. Not only did Richard find other accomodations in the area for us, but invited us to spend the day, and evening at the pool, even though we weren't staying there. As I said, you arrive as guests, but in a short time, you are considered friends. The breakfasts were fantastic. The pancakes with strawberries, and the eggs benedict can't be beat. But the best part of the breakfast meal is the interaction with Kurt, Richard, and other guests. I can't remember staying at a Hotel or B&B where other guests have been so friendly. But that starts with the top (Kurt and Richard), and the atmosphere and environment they have created at Meadowlark. We met several people at breakfast, and it turns out one couple will be in Hawaii the same time as us, and we are already making plans to get together. Kurt and Richard are also very helpful as far as dinner reservations, and the many wineries in the area. If you are looking for a place to get away, relax, and enjoy a friendly, respectful environment, Meadowlark cannot be beat. We live over 800 miles away, and it is well worth the drive.

Wow, what's not to like about this place. Beautiful property, gorgeous rooms, great pool facilities, fantastic location, to die for Breakfasts!. But I have to say, one the most memorable aspects of our trip was just talking to Kurt and Richard - the owners/operators. So funny, wise, friendly, helpful. We went with several other couples and had just a perfect time. Already planning our next trip!

And the location is just ideal for seeing all of Napa. Being North of Napa proper, you can really hit any part of the Napa region without having to drive too far.

And Richard and Kurts recommendations were just perfect.

Just go...you'll love it!

This place is wonderful. The owners are fabulous, always helpful with suggestions for daily excursions or dinner recommendations. One of the best experiences ever is a relaxing day at the pool! The rooms are charming, have great views and private patios. Breakfast is a great opportunity to enjoy good food, nice people and stimulating conversation. The owners are very engaging and make each person feel welcome in their home. My husband and I have been visiting Meadowlark for 10 years. We love it and visit several times a year. We start all our vacations with a trip to Meadowlark to start a vacation off relaxed and happy. Meadowlark is beautiful, Kurt and Richard are the sweetest people you could ever meet, and I feel at home when I visit.

Compare and contrast to your hearts content. I challenge you to find a more welcoming and balanced Inn antwhere in the western US. Our hosts create an atmosphere of contentment by blending provacative ideology, philosophical acumen and an amazing eye for beauty in all forms. our multiple visits have built a genuine appreciation for the personality this peaceful enclave brings to this crazy world. Throw off your clothes, leave your business cloak behind and relax.

My husband and I spent a week at this glorious B&B. It far exceeded our expectations!

The grounds are beautifully maintained in a soft, natural, elegant way -- rich with foliage and flowers. The large ceramic blue & white flower pots filled with white roses (reminiscent of Portugal) that surround the pool are gorgeous.

We had a two room suite in the main house with 3 sets of glass doors that all opened out onto a deck with views. The furniture is eclectic and charming, reflecting the personalities of the owners who were extremely gracious. And, the bed was very comfortable.

Every morning a lovely breakfast was served on the main house terrace where the owners were available to give us helpful suggestions about which wineries to frequent, where to find the best restaurants - and the locations of hiking and biking trails.

In addition to everything above, Meadowlark Inn is pet friendly -- so, we took our pooch and he was able to be off leash the entire time -- what a treat! We are planning to return to Meadowlark and would highly recommend this wonderful B&B to everyone :-)

I had a great stay as always at the Meadowlark. This past weekend I just needed time to wind down from my work and it was perfect. The pool area and my room were beautiful and Kurt and Richard make me feel at home. They're quite entertaining and helpful in finding the good restaurants and wineries. Great in-house massage as well!
