A small slice of heaven on earth. Fubuki Townhouse number 2. Niseko.
We have recently been fortunate enough to spend a few days in Niseko Japan.
Niseko is absolutely wonderful. Fantastic Ski Town that has maintained so much heritage and old fashioned charm with superb overall service.
Fubuki 1,2 and 3 offer some of the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Simply 5 Star.
They are clean, comfortable and feel virtually brand new and what we realised very quickly is that they have a fantastic reputation with all the restaurants and or tour/activity centres.
One of the things that added special charm and took all the stress out of our planning was the service and help we were given by owner Pippa. Nothing was too much trouble and efficiency of the highest order.
Not often one sees a place that is actually better than it's respective website.
Well Fubuki is.
Excellent location, beautifully appointed and a really relaxed feel. Its hard to keep 3 teenagers satisfied but they loved it and there was great space for all of us. Fantastic team that look after you with pick ups, drop offs, and advice on what to do.
Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed for a week during CNY 2015 and absolutely loved it. Fubuki 3 is very comfortable, spacious, practical and well located. There were bacon and eggs in the fridge on our arrival and cleaners came in everyday. Can't recommend it highly enough!
We stayed in Fubuki 1 in January 2015 for 8 nights.
The service we received from the initial booking til the time of departure was exemplary.
We were a party of eight. Four adults and 4 children. Three children slept in the ground floor bedroom with one on the floor on a futon. The other child slept on a futon on the top floor where there is a lounge and TV. Two spacious double rooms on the top floor each with bathrooms catered for the 4 adults. Really large lounge room and fantastic dining table where we spent the majority of our stay.
We were met by a great team from Niseko Boutiques led by John when we arrived in Niseko, who then drove us to Fubuki1 by mini van.
After unloading our luggage John drove us to get our ski hire gear and lift tickets and drove us back to our accomodation.
Unexpectedly our fridge was filled with essentials to get us through the first day or two. Milk, eggs, bread, juice etc. what a great surprise. We also did a big supermarket order through Niseko Boutiques which was delivered to our apartment that first afternoon.
John was on call to drop us off and pick us up from the lifts each day. We took him up on his offer a couple of times but most days chose to walk.
Our bins were emptied everyday and bathrooms cleaned.
We loved our stay in Niseko and loved coming home each day to a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing place. Thanks Pippa for all your emails and your wealth of information. So greatly appreciated. We will be back!
I stayed at Fubuki 3, which is a five bedroom house with accommodation for 10. The interior is clean, modern and very well appointed. I especially liked the large sitting area and the open plan kitchen. The heated floors at the ground floor level and the large laundry room made it very comfortable to sort out ski gear at the end of a day out skiing.
Cleaners came in every day to clean, which I myself did not know about prior to arriving and so that was a pleasant surprise.
The location of Fubuki is a massive plus. Although our group rented a van, we could have easily walked to Grand Hirafu Ski Village in about 10 or 15 minutes.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Fubuki.

We stayed in Fubuki 2 with extended family and had an absolutely wonderful holiday together. It has 3 stories. Upstairs has a TV area and 2 bedrooms each with a bathroom, middle has kitchen, dining and living area with a toilet and downstairs is the entry, two twin bedrooms with a shared ensuite and a large laundry/drying area. We appreciated the house being large enough and enough bathrooms to give us privacy while having room for us all to get to gether for relaxing in the living room and for meals. The house has high quality fit out and finishes and a great kitchen. It is serviced daily with all essentials such as soaps, paper products, tea, coffee etc provided when you arrive. The service was fantastic from Pippa providing all information before we left and John being available and helpful when we were there. We had a shuttle to the snow each morning and afternoon although it was only a 15 minute walk. We mostly walked to some fabulous local restaurants and to the supermarket although John arranged a taxi for us a couple of times. We would all highly recommend Fubuki as a comfortable and luxurious place for a skiing holiday.
We stayed in Fubuki 3 for a week during CNY (Feb 2015). The booking process was very efficient and Pippa was extremely helpful in providing help booking things beyond the property itself, including van hire and transfer from Sapporo. All this was handled swiftly and all panned out as expected on arrival. A very smooth experience all in all. The property itself was very clean, tasteful and comfortable. We were extremely happy to have it cleaned every day and it proved a wonderful location for our group of 10 to base ourselves in during our trip. I'd recommend the property to any group of this size and we are already considering return visit.
