My wife and I wanted to go somewhere closeby to Tokyo, last minute and were fortunate to find this place. It's located on the tip of the Boso peninsula with great Pacific ocean views. If you don't have a car, this might not be the place for you as it is remote. The room was a very nice mix of western and modern Japanese with focus on the amazing view of the ocean. The massage chair was a nice touch.
The service was ten out ten, being very accommodating to every need and request. I've been to many onsens ryoken, and this is the best hands down. I usually don't like Kai-seki, traditional Japanese course meals, but this was amazing. A perfect balance of flavors, textures and seasonal foods. In the morning, there is a falcon feeding which is interesting.
But be warned though, its not cheap!More
