“Overhyped, Overpriced and Overblown”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

It's a good drive. But its way overhyped. Lots of marketing for what amounts to a drive winding through private houses and ocean front properties. You can only stop at designated locations, and the views are nice but you can get just about 10x better view if you drive down on Highway 1 towards Big Sur.

Save the money, you'll be tailgating lots of tourist cars and it will be a lot more fun seeing the views from Highway 1 south towards Carmel Valley.

“Beautiful drive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

We had a great time on the drive. Stopped at Pebble Beach Club house to take photos and shop. Public can just walk into club house. Stopped at the Pebble Beach Grocery store and purchased some great local wine. Many stops along the drive to take great photos. Ate lunch at Roys at the Spanish Bay resort. Good food, service and great view.

Beautiful scenery. Stop at Roys or the Lodge and Pebble and have lunch or dinner.

We took this drive last year. It's a beautiful drive along the coast and through wooded land.

“Drive through Pebble Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Do not miss the 17 mile drive. The ocean views through Pebble Beach are amazing and the $9.50 fee to go through is well worth it! If you stop at the Lodge and have lunch they'll also credit you the entrance fee.
