“Highlight of Carpinteria trip!”

Reviewed April 4, 2018 via mobile

We enjoyed the overlook, the short walk, and especially the volunteer at the overlook. There are 50 plus seals and pups. The volunteer had binoculars for us to see the wildlife and she explained everything about them. It was a great experience.

We went at sunset and there were a few seals there. Early in the season for them. I was happy to see some!

Definitely worth visiting. It's a beautiful long walk along the beach.
If you're lucky, you can see the seals. I wasn't. :)

This is a great place for a nice walk and wildlife adventure. You can enjoy the scenery on your way and see the beautiful coastline bluffs. You can watch the seals relax on the beach while their pups frolic around. An experience you will not forget!!!

Best time of year is Dec. through May, but you can see them most year around. Stay on the bluffs above. Typically there are volunteer docents that guard the area from up on the bluffs as well.
