Really didn't like it at all. The sang choy bow was all mushy and brown lettuce leaves, no idea what was in the spring rolls but they were horrible. The short soup was ok but barely any filling in the dumplings. Won't be going back. Sorry.

Everyone likes Chinese now and then, whether to relieve tired Mum from the chore of cooking, or the parents want to eat out, or the children deserve a treat, or because the Sharks football club is nearby, and Woolooware Railway Station one block away. Ot you just like Chinese. Well, you'll love this Chinese! It's in the middle of the very small, compact, and user-friendly Woolooware shopping centre, on the north side of the railway, conveniently next door to a bottle shop (the restaurant is BYO and corkage is about $4.00 a bottle, but it's also licensed with a range of very good wines at highly competitive prices). It has all the entrees you love (dim sum; san choi bow; vegetarian spring rolls to die for; soups; the list goes on and on, very reasonably priced: 6 pieces of spring roll at $7.00; the same price for 4 san choi bow). And the mains are equally impressive in their variety, scope and price (averaging !3.50-$15.50). We never manage to get to the sweets, but always enjoy the choices of rice, be they boiled, fried, vegetarian or not. The service is unfailingly polite, friendly and welcoming. Diana Wu is front of house and her husband is the chef. They are open Tuesday-Sunday for lunch and dinner and have really good lunch bargains (take-away) averaging $5.00-7.00 per course. The restaurant is air-conditioned, has three gleaming chandeliers, Chinese swords or coins on the walls, and room for small family gatherings. It's that kind of family-friendly place. Parking is in the street outside and, at night, there's lots of it; if you go for lunch during the week, be sure to park on the side opposite the restaurant as the restaurant side is limited to 30 minutes. On Saturdays and Sundays, especially at night, no problems at all.Go there! You'll enjoy it all.
