I love this restaurant for the quality it exudes. Starting from the decor, the streamlined processes and the ingredients. Their vegetarian rice cakes are my fave. Oolong tea is decent for a chain restaurant. I am told the dumplings are great. I was not fond of the vegetarian ones though. Just ok. However, the rest of vegetarian dishes are good. The overall rating is 4.5 :-)

We have been to dumpling places all over the world and this chain may be the best. With locations in Taiwan (the original) Philippines, and LA, the chefs are all trained for 6 months before they are allowed to touch a dumpling. The dumplings are made in a special room that is on display. Try the pork soup dumplings (first one on the dumpling menu with the unpronounceable name) and also the green beans and chocolate dessert dumplings. There is often a 1-2 hour wait, but you can shop in the mall and they will text you when your table is ready. Alternatively, you can stand in line for the bar, which is a much shorter wait. It’s worth it, for this truly world class experience.

We went here because my friend had visited and loved the one in Shanghai, and it was just as good! We shared the juicy pork dumplings (their specialty) and some garlic green beans that were fresh and delicious. Their jasmine milk tea with boba is also excellent.
There is often a long wait to get in, and it’s worth it.

This is my favorite dumpling and noodles restaurant. No matter where you go their menu and taste is consistent across all their restaurants. Dumplings are fantastic, the noodles amazing and love the variety of greens with garlic.

Been coming here once a month since it opened a few years ago. Super long wait, but the dumplings are worth it. The secret is to line up between half and hour to at minutes before the restaurant opens. You'll get a table for sure. Otherwise, the wait is 2 hours from the time you put your name on the wait list. Plenty of time to shop at South Coast Plaza if you can take your time.

All the dumplings are excellent! The xiaolongbao is the best! In addition, we love the spicy wonton dish, any of the fried rice dishes (especially with pork chops), and the mustard green dish.

The food here is light, done with great detail to attention and quality. It's fun and delicious without the crowded madness of a traditional Chinese dimsum restaurant.
