Ok! We stay in a lot ...I mean A LOT of Marriotts, all across this great country! The team members at this place are top rate! Kind, friendly, helpful & just plan nice to be around. The room, building & grounds are all well maintained, but it's the staff that makes this place special-from the from desk to housekeeping to food service to maintenance- these people were incredible!

The location is good, next to the Cupertino village, many restaurants and supermarkets.
But the room is a little bit old and it is not same quality of Courtyard as others in China.
Anyway, it is ok if what you want is convenience.

I was greeted by a super friendly front desk staff and a lovely lobby! Check in was easy. The rooms are updated, clean, and spacious. The only thing that still needs updating at this location are the hallways. Our hallway sort of smelled.
Otherwise this is in a convenient location and great for a quick overnight.

Room tip: we were on the second floor just so headlights wouldn't shin in our room and we could leave the sliding glass door open for fresh air.

Ah, Silicon Valley lodging, where you can expect to pay a big markup compared to the same hotel elsewhere. In this land of perpetual room shortages, the best you can hope for in return for the high rates is good service and a clean room. On that point, the Courtyard fits the bill. It's not new and it's not fancy, but service is good and it's clean. It's conveniently located near the interstate, there's plenty of free parking and the wifi works well. The staff at the bistro where meals are served counter-service style is friendly and the food is actually pretty good, prepared fresh in the back.

I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite due to my Gold membership, which was unnecessary since I was only there for one night but still a nice touch. The room looked into the courtyard and was completely quiet. My colleague said he had a room facing the interstate but couldn't hear any traffic noise due to good window soundproofing.

The hotel has everything you need, as long as you don't mind paying the "Cupertino tax."

First time staying here and Gibert has absolutely great; great directions, information and ideas. The room was comfortable and for the most part quite [room 119]. The one draw back was you can here people around upstairs and when the AC unit kicked in it made one heck of a racket. Should we need to stay on this side of the bay area again this particular Marriott we will consider, but will insist on the 2nd floor as the first choice.

Room tip: Choose the 2nd floor if you don't want to hear the noises from there.
