This is our all time favorite restaurant in the OC as far as Italian is concerned and amazingly so well valued . Fresh pastas with interesting sauces, wonderful seafood options, incredible talented service, and nightly specials that our SPECIAL. If I didn’t totally enjoy cooking, we would go their multiple times per week.

When you want to step up a notch and get the feel that you are in a good Italian restaurant, but not really high end, then this is a good choice. The food is great and I don't think you can pick a bad dish. The bruschetta as an appetizer is a great call.

Only negative I can point out is that it is a bit loud and it's acoustics are very disruptive. But what are you going to do. Great food and service at good prices. Very busy all the time.

We visit Lucianas for dinner whenever we stay in Dana Point. Great intimate feel when dining with warm red walls, bookshelves filled with antique books and olive oil bottles. Great wine list and we all enjoyed our meals: grilled lamb chops, angel hair chicken and tomato cream sauce, bolognese lasagna, and linguini with marinara. Great staff and very helpful with menu.

What a great Italian Restaurant! We were returning from a day trip to Catalina and we were looking for a good restaurant near the harbor, this one did not disappoint! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Everything was fantastic! Wish we lived closer we would visit this place often. Can't wait for our next So Cal adventure so we can eat here again!!

My wife and I recently dined at Luciana’s and really enjoyed the experience. The wine list is extensive and fairly priced. After sharing a Caesar salad, we both ordered the veal parmigiana. It was tender, well prepared, and served with vegetables and a side of spaghetti. The portions were ample and we could have easily shared this dish. (In honesty we are not the biggest of eaters.) Needless to say, we left full and happy. Luciana’s will be on our list for a return visit.
