Well, we did and I am! What a wonderful place, very friendly staff and owners, very well kept grounds and rooms. This is not a 5 star resort, but it is not trying to be, LWS has 5 star service. We were met at the front door by Jeff the owner and soon met Julie his wife and Susan. I had talked to Susan on the phone before about questions and had talked to Kat when I originally did the reservations. All were helpful and well versed about the goings on. It was nice seeing them around the spa and talking to them while they were carrying out their daily routines.
I can't believe how friendly all the guest were and don't know if we were just lucky or if it was because of the C/O, but we talked and listened to each of their stories and travels. There is a meet and greet in the hot tub in the afternoon and that is well worth the time. With so few rooms, it is a great time to visit one on one, it is not required, but IMHO, is well worth it.
For future guest, my recommendation would be to bring ice in an ice chest. There is a small freezer in the refrigerator in the room, but doesn't make ice very fast. Ice is not provided by LWS and I am sure that with the soothing mineral water, ice machines would require constant maintenance.
Thanks to everyone, owners, staff and guests, at LWS for such a pleasant, rewarding weekend, and we will be back several times in 2018.
