Had the crab cake salad to start and the Kanpachi fish with a miso glaze for my main entree. The crab cake salad was ok. Served with avocado and mangos, the flavors were pretty good. The crab cake was ok only and I’ve had better. For my main entree, the Kanpachi was a tad dry and without much of a miso taste. I had asked for the fish to be prepared more medium rare, but it didn’t arrive that way. The corn that accompanied the dish had good flavor except it was way too spicy for me to really enjoy it. I love to eat spicy food, however, the hot taste turned me off. I had high expectations that this restaurant would wow me. Unfortunately, it was just ok.
