“we loved the place for the most part”
Reviewed June 30, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Beautiful place I can't says that enough. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not ready for use. we really should have been notified before we got there or mentioned it when we booked the reservation but nobody knew about it not being ready until we were already there. It really seemed like the place had not been rented in a while and it had only been "spruced up" the last minute and some things did not have time to be addressed...lots of cobwebs everywhere, bbq grill and its area not clean and a full bag of old yucky garbage. dead bugs in the light fixtures, the remote control blinds did not work and so we were unable to adjust the blinds at all and the ice maker was not producing any ice...like the water to the frig possibly forgot to be turned on. We couldn't drive up the driveway to unload and load our vehicles because the large gate was locked. We had to carry everything thru the small gate and haul it about 50-60 feet or so to the house which made it hard on us and our sick friend on oxygen. There were heavy tanks, condensers and other equipment to set up in the house...

Other than all of that we all loved it and didn't want to go home.

Stayed at the Rocktop Lodge with a large group. Awesome access to both the Russian River for fishing, floating, & water fun, and nearly 20 Westside Road / Healdsburg area wineries. Loved the grand dining hall, bar & entertainment room with a view, hot-tub pool, grill & cabana - this place is decked out. Very thoughtful accomodations, it had everything we needed stocked. A property with great style, character, & location. Will definitely be staying here again!

“Awesome Riverfront Property”
Reviewed May 14, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We had an amazing time up at the RockTop. The private river access can't be beaten. The sleeping accommodations were great with 4 separate rooms (including a pool house!) and its perfect for a lodge group. Can't wait to be back!

“Comfort, character, and natural beauty—Rocktop has it covered.”
Reviewed May 14, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

A group of friends and I recently enjoyed an extended weekend in wine country, and Rocktop Lodge was the perfect setup for us. We loved exploring the details in this historic building—the redwood interior is really stunning. It was also outfitted with all the amenities we could have asked for. The outdoor grill setup was perfect, the kitchen well stocked, and the sleeping quarters were private and comfortable. We could hear cars traveling across the bridge in the early morning, but it was nothing that the earplugs thoughtfully provided on the bedside table couldn’t handle. Very highly recommended!

“The Rocktop...Rocks!”
Reviewed May 11, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

This place is amazing! A cool rustic-yet-comfortable vibe, with all kinds of amenities including a great pool and hot tub, outdoor kitchen, direct stairway access to the River, multiple outdoor hang spots (including a tiki hut!), a great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, clean and updated bathrooms, I could go on and on...great for a large group. You can't go wrong with the Rock Top Lodge!

“Amazing riverside retreat with all the comforts”
Reviewed May 11, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We were very impressed with this place. Private river access, a pool, a hot tub and all the comforts with big screen TVs and a gourmet kitchen. Not sure what else you could want in a weekend getaway that took us under two hours to get to from Oakland. Looking forward to booking again.

“River, pool, hot tub - what more could you want?”
Reviewed May 8, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

I've stayed the the Rocktop Lodge three times now and will obviously be back. I grew up going to the Russian River and this lodge has it all. A great part of the river - deep water, premium floating from Steelhead Beach right to the lodge dock. Not sure there is any other place that can offer the space and amenities. Great place for kids that can swim (pool and hot tub), big kitchen, epic dining room, fireplaces, and unique old CA lodge feel but with modern functionality. It's right on the Hacienda bridge which makes for great views and access to wineries, but there is road noise. Still, it is very private and there is no place like it on the Russian river. Party on and stay Rocktop!
