Forty-three acres of beautiful gardens. Among them, forest, perineal, rhododendron, vegetable and many more. Include a walk to the ocean and a nursery selling many of the plants that are on display and you have a truly unique garden. A full day would not be too long to spend here as is evidenced by the availability of membership passes. Also, for a break there is a snack bar with wi-fi so you can share pictures of the many intriguing plants. Really a must see if you like flowers and are in Fort Bragg.

Didn’t see a lot of bees till later and only a few. The scenery is as expected, awesome. Very nice place to walk and relax. The trail takes you out to the cliffs or not, up to you. Pretty cool that they have a small nursery that you can buy plants.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around looking at the trees in the conifer and woodland gardens, and enjoying the excellent plant shop. I discovered species I'd never seen (the perfect reason to visit Botanical Gardens) and saw things in blossom I wouldn't see back home. Jeffrey, in the plant shop, was just excellent to look one rare Australian tree up so that I would be able to find it later.

Beautiful gardens with lots of variety. The rhododendrons were in bloom along with the magnolias. The beach bluff has great views with benches to sit and enjoy it. Don’t miss it if you are in Fort Bragg.

Each annual visit to Fort Bragg would not be complete without a visit to The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. In my opinion April and May are the choice months to see the spectacular display of rhododendron and azaleas in bloom, although the walk through the gardens is spectacular any time of year as you wander through the clearly marked trails and paths and take in the views from the trails that skirt the cliffs over the ocean.

Their is a wonderful plant nursery offering divisions and pjopbagations from plants and shrubs from the gardens and a gift shop with the typical tourist array of momentous. However, it is the gardens that take the prize.
