My husband and I received a generous gift certificate for this place so we finally chose a night to use it and we were impressed, to say the least.
The restaurant is casual and the decor is rustic, with large plate glass windows near the ceiling and many candles adorn the room. I've been told they don't take reservations for parties less than 6. Because we were there on a Wednesday evening, that was not a problem. They were, however, quite busy.
Dinners include a small loaf of bread on a cutting board, antipasto plate, raviolis, house soup, and tossed salad--all before the main entree arrives! Entrees come with a choice of Yukon Gold baked potatoes or steak fries, mac and cheese or chef's choice of fresh vegetables.
I chose Steak Oscar (topped with some lump crab meat). It barely needed a knife at all due to the tenderness of the steak. ($35). My husband chose their Rib Eye Steak, which he proclaimed to be excellent and tender. ($25). We finished off with Creme Brulee.
Other items on the menu include BBQ Pork Spareribs, Shrimp Scampi, Catfish Picatta, Grilled Steelhead Trout,Chicken Wellington. LOTS of items from which to choose!
We will be going here again.
