Had to have surgery so made reservations at Motel 6! Had stayed there 3 previous times back in the early 2000s for same reasons! Was very happy with the rooms back then! No complaints at all then !!
But this time..... OMG ! Asked for handicapped room because of the bars and they were lose by the toliet and VERY DIRTY !! We cleaned them off. The tile on the floor cut my sisters toes....No microwave as I had before ! The floor was dirty....but we stayed due to the surgery !
Prices are crazy for winter... We stayed an extra nite which cost me over $90 !!!! And this was a sign in on a Sunday night ...Sure glad it wasn't a weekend !!!
But will never stay there again !!!
And also was given the wrong keys for the room....would not work...so had to get them again. Staff didn't seem to much to care about their service to the customer !

This place is a disgrace! Two weeks ago there’s a shooting in the parking lot. Now after having a “safety check” INSPECTION of my room they want another one the next day. I refused. Filed complaint. I’m on DNR list now. UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER. I’ll take my business elsewhere. I told manager and front desk person to come and inspect my room and complained why am I having yet another inspection?? Manager just walked away. I was given a paper saying they can inspect your room when you are not there. If you want your rights violated and to be harassed, stay here!!!

It's been about 30 years since I've stayed in a Motel 6 when they were a modest $23 a night and Tom Bodette was airing his homey midwestern voice over the airwaves, stating "We'll leave the light on for you." They did leave the light on, but not the hot water heater. I took a city water temperature shower in the white fiberglass shower stall, and passed out in a moderately comfortable full size bed. The guy behind the desk, who looked like he'd been on a steady diet of Nacho flavored Doritos for every meal since birth, gave me the wrong key card, and I opened the door of a guy who was sleeping in his darkened room who uttered, "HEY!!" and I quickly apologized. I'm just glad he didn't have a gun, because dying in a Motel 6 would look really crappy on my obituary. I like the remodeled look of the rooms with it's retro-mod TV console and decor, cheap as it is, is an attempt at a certain aesthetic other than cheap. I promise, I will never return!!
