Good food, neighborhood restaurant, parking in the back, friendly staff. The old house turned into the restaurant is cozy. The only thing is they don't have a bar to make real Margaritas. But they have wine and beer and a mock rite.

This little restaurant was suggested by one of the local workers at Half Moon Bay. From the outside it looked like a quaint little home with bright touches of colors.
We were warmly greeted and decided to sit outside under their festive red umbrellas. Home made chips and salsa were placed in front of us. Spicy and regular salsa - spicy is spicy. Went really well with the best margarita! The food - authentic Mexican food made from scratch and tasted sooo good. They have a extensive menu and you will not be disappointed. The chips and salsa are homemade and can be bought to take with you to enjoy later - which I would suggest you do. (It was difficult to stop munching on those chips and salsa )This place is a hidden gem and worth a stop for lunch as we did - they are also open for dinner.

Stopped for late Saturday lunch. Menu is extensive and even includes tamales, which you don't always see. American and Mexican beers and margaritas, along with different brands of tequila. Good burritos and tacos and large portions. Chips and salsa of course and nice service. Prices are reasonable. We will return.

We have been just driving to SF from Carmel and I was craving for Mexican food. Found this one and it was lunch time - really liked the food, inexpensive and friendly. The portions are really big so don't eat much tortilla chips before (tho they are pretty good)

Reasonable service albeit a little hurried. Food was bland and needed season. The also bounced a perfectly good cc. Won't be back.
