Mu husband and I spent the last night of our honeymoon in the Towers Suite. Well kept grounds, welcoming staff, and a delicious breakfast were the highlights of our stay. We were delighted to find a bottle of wine and piece of cake in our room, welcoming us to the hotel. Our room, however, was disappointing and did not feel like a $600+ experience. The entire space was over-decorated and crowded, making it difficult to find a space for our suitcase or even for us to move about the room. There were small details that took away from what should have been a higher-end experience: the bathroom door did not close all of the way, the toilet seat was chipped. Upon checkout, the manager was lovely and welcomed our feedback. Overall, I would go back and try a different room. Everything else about this hotel was fabulous, hoping this feedback is used to elevate the experience for guests of the Tower.

We had the privilege of staying 3 nights at Honor Mansion. We stayed in a vineyard suite which was spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds of the resort were very impressive including pool, tennis, croquet, basketball and bocce. We thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet breakfast each morning, which focussed on American foods such as Santa Fe Bake with Applewood Bacon.,with a different main dish each morning. What we particularly appreciated was the care and attention given by Tracy to ensure we had a memorable visit. This included recommending and booking great local restaurants and winery tasting tours. We went to some excellent wineries such as Williams Selyem which focused on the Burgundian varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. We also went to Willi’s Raw Bar and Dry Creek Kitchen which were both great experiences. To sum it up,we found the Honor Mansion to provide excellent lodgings coupled with great service and attention to detail.

What a great property! As nice as the building is, the grounds are even better. Our two nights at Honor Mansion was the highlight of our Northern California trip. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. Lots of nice touches including wine and appetizers in the afternoon and sherry in the evening. We highly recommend it for a restful getaway or a home base to visit the area wineries. Also, a short walk to downtown Healdsburg with some great restaurants.

Never disappointed. We feel like we’ve “ come home” each time we arrive and step out of the car. Beautifully appointed, excellent personal service, every need taken care of. Staff has become “ family”.
When we leave we immediately begin planning our next arrival.

Words fail to really describe what an incredibly relaxing, wonderful and personal experience it was staying here. We stayed in the Vineyard Suite IV- everything about the accommodations, from the sumptuous bedding, to the outdoor space w/jetted tub enables us to enjoy quiet, peaceful, relaxation in a warm, inviting and well appointed space. The service- gracious, authentic, down-to-earth, anticipatory, personalized, warm made for such a lovely stay. We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary and I have stayed in every manner of hotel and B&B and at every price point over the years. We arranged for in-suite couple massages which were fantastic. I arranged for some in room additional amenities - food, flowers, etc. which were all great and top quality. This charming place and the staff shine among the top 1% of those I have enjoyed over the years. We left feeling refreshed, restored and relaxed- Healdsburg itself is great. Even as Napa has become more developed and mainstream and places like Yountville and Sonoma have also become more commercial, Healdsburg and Honor Mansion in particular retain their authenticity, intimacy and gracious hospitality in ways that one wishes more people could experience while wanting to keep it secret to avoid it becoming like too many other destinations have become. Thank you again to the staff for a wonderful stay, romantic getaway and incredible experience!!!!
