This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are designed very thoughtfully. The locations is great, drinks are fantastic and breakfast was delicious. That said, because the door to our room has no sound seal, I was woken up by people walking down the hallway and/or closing their doors at least 10 times during the night. Finally, around 3 am, when the noise finally died down I was so irritated by being woken up numerous times that I couldn't go back to sound sleep for at least an hour. This was a design issue--the hotel guests were not being excessively loud. There are virtually no absorbent surfaces in the hotel and the door clearly had no sound seal, so every time someone on our hallway closed a door it reverberated through our room. It sounded like our door was being opened -- not a welcome noise when you're in REM sleep and it's 2 am. Everything else was great, but since the ultimate purpose of a hotel room is to sleep soundly and safely, I was very disappointed.

We enjoyed the modern, somewhat Asian styled room. The shower was nice and large, tho without a whole door, it did spray into the bathroom a bit more than I liked. We did not eat here except for the included breakfast. That was fine, but I would have like more protein options.

My wife and I went to Healdsburg for an overnight stay to celebrate Valentines (a little early). We both thoroughly enjoyed this hotel with the clean, modern decor and great amentities, including: free still and sparkling water bottles in the room, free DVD movies to borrow and watch from the front desk, access to free bikes (though we didn't have time to use this), and breakfast included in the rate. We booked the standard room which was plenty spacious enough for the two of us. The king bed included two mini duvets which was interesting, so you're not fighting for the covers, I suppose. The bathroom was also very nice and modernized with a large shower stall. The hotel was also conveniently located by the town square, within easy walking distance to local shops and restaurants, and not too far away from some local vineyards to enjoy some wine tasting. Definitely recommend this place if you visit Healdsburg.

We came across H2 hotel in Healdsburg when reviewing properties on TripAdvisor and really liked what I saw. The price was not cheap, but they did have a pretty good rate for non-weekend nights. The rate also included breakfast as well as free bike rental. The hotel location was great, only a couple blocks away from the main square and within walking distance to many of restaurants. There's also a restaurant on the first floor called Spoonbar, which we didn't try this time. The hotel looked very modern and somewhat minimalistic from the outside. They are actually LEED certified, and we definitely saw some "green" features in and around the hotel. There wasn't really a "lobby" area. As soon as we came in, we saw the restaurant on the left and a lounge, seating area on the right. The check in counter was the same for both the restaurant and the hotel. Check in time was guaranteed for 3 PM. We also saw the water bar which was a very cool concept. The hotel provided 2 free bottles of water in the hotel room: 1 sparkling and 1 flat water. If you ran out, you can get free refills at the water bar in the lobby. This was such a cool idea!

The room was good sized, very clean, and modern. We got the King bed which was so huge. The bathroom consisted of a big shower and a separate toilet area. One of the "green" features were the soap/shampoo dispensers, as opposed to the usual small containers. There was a small balcony seating area outside which we didn't use at all, but it was nice to see.

Breakfast was also included in our rate. It was served in the Spoonbar restaurant on the first floor, from 6 AM to 10 AM. Breakfast consisted of yogurt, granola, eggs, fritata, and many wonderful pastries (scones, banana bread, muffin, cupcake, toast), as well as apples, bananas, and some juices.

We read in the welcome book that the hotel also provided free DVD movie rentals. So we stopped by the front desk and grabbed two DVDs. It was such a small thing, but we really enjoy these small touches such as providing free DVD movies to watch. This hotel definitely had a few pluses that made them unique and memorable.

We definitely enjoyed our one night stay at H2 hotel. The location was great, room was clean and modern, and all the small touches really made a difference. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again in the future!
