Ruby's has the best shakes and really great selection of different flavors. My favorite is the 50/50, it's like an old fashioned creamsicle. They also have a large selection of burgers, any of which can be a garden burger or turkey burger. If you don't like burgers they have sandwiches and salads and a new De-lightful menu with some lower calorie options. Something for everyone. Be prepared to wait. It's always fun to watch the fishermen at the end of the pier while you wait. They do have seating at the counter, which is first come first served, so take a look inside if you don't want to wait. Seating by the windows gives you a great ocean view.

This Ruby's is located at the tip of the HB pier with a very nice view of the ocean. The food is above average and service is acceptable.
It can get very crowded with long waiting times to be seated.

They settled in our group of 16 nicely on the second floor, accurately filled our orders, and delivered our food with a smile. At the end of the pier with great views for the sunset. Many burger choices, beef, turkey, chicken, fish. Shakes are delicious and then sweet potato fries and fried green beans are worth a try. Endless fries if you have room after eating the piled high burger.

We didn't know about the place in advance; it was a pleasant surprise. The burger and fries were good as was the Cobb salad. We dined in a comfortable red booth on the upper floor of the restaurant and had a lovely view of the Pacific Ocean! The background 40's music was very nice. The wait staff also wear 40's style servers garb. It was just a lot of fun! If you don't want to pay a fortune to dine on the ocean, try this out!

We walked to the end of Huntington Beach pier. There was a take out window that was unmanned but a sign saying you can order at the cashier in the restaurant. Seemed a little expensive but it was nice to take ice cream cones to go and eat on a bench outside.
