We stayed at Travelodge for the Coachella festival in April 2010. We had 2 rooms (the hotel made sure they were adjoining rooms). The rooms were clean every day. The property had ample parking, was quiet and maintained. My friend's room had a stove in addition to the microwave and fridge that we had. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The manager, Mr. Patel (and probably the owner) works hard to please the guests and is very personable. There are oranges and apples near the front desk (we never woke up early enough for the free breakfast) that are perfect for on the go. There is a pool which some guests used and a tennis court which no one used (it was too hot.)

There is a Mimi's, IHOP, Walgrens, and CVS nearby. The hotel is 1 mile away from the Indio polo fields which makes it PERFECT for the weekend concerts.

I wanted a clean, modestly priced motel for one night. The room was adequate in size, pleasant enough upon entering, clean bathroom, and a small fridge and microwave. It seemed clean, but when I pulled back the bedding, I immediately saw that the rumpled sheets had not been changed from the previous guest! There were also several long black hairs on the bottom sheet! Repulsive! Because we had a late check in, there was no one on staff who could take care of this for us. The one person at the desk did bring us two sets of clean sheets and pillow cases, which we used to change the beds ourselves! We were given a discount of 20% off the bill, which was appreciated, but it did not make up for the unpleasant experience. From now on, it is Marriot for me and my family!

I was in town to visit family. I got a good deal on a non smoking room and when I walked in the room I was pleasantly suprised... After reading the reviews I didn't have high hopes but I liked what saw... The bed was very comfortable and it smelled pleasant in the room. The sink and carpet were brand new. I would recommend this hotel to any one... Don't be fooled by the reviews by other people who stayed here in 2006 and 2007... This property has been renovated. Happy travels

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and found the room small and cozy with a couple of lights working on and off. The fridge was small but good enough to put all of the drinks inside, food and snacks. Staff was good very polite and helpful. Parking was good there was no problem finding an open spot. The entrance of the hotel looked a little rundown with little paint job but decorative inside with an at-home type feeling. The pool was ok not super but ok. The tv had some sound problems at times but the room was overall good enough for a short stay.

It looked like the place where the protagonist in "No country for Old Men" shot 35 people. I freaked out completely. The beds were creaking. People were walking around at 2 am outside the room. The carpets are dirty. The toilet seat was soiled.

More importantly, they charged me for 2 nights when I told them I do not want to stay here, giving me the reason that the reservation can not be canceled. I checked out anyway in less than 6 hours, after a sleepless night and thought it was better to waste $200 than to stay here for the remaining week and pain myself.

Send someone to this place if you want to punish them.

We stayed at this motel while visiting my nephew whose a Marine at 29 Palms. For $90 a night I'd expect not to be up at 6 AM with the maid service. Interesting smell that we couldn't identify. There was either hot or cold water, no such thing as in between. The outlet for the hair dryer and coffee pot was not working so, needless to say, we left with wet heads. Not recommended, drive into Palm Desert, much nicer places for the same price.

We were attending the Pacific Life Open Tennis Tournament and this hotel was very close so we booked 2 nights(before we read any reviews here).
There are so many things wrong with this hotel that it would take too long to list all of them. The place is used mostly by contruction workers and the rooms are horrible (and I seldom use terms like this). My wife and I felt we were in some third world country as everything in the room is old and crumbling; it was like what I have in the past called a flophouse.
Please Please do not go here BEFORE you see the rooms. We had no choice but to stay here because all hotels were already booked before we found out how this place was.
