I was pleasantly surprised by this property. I chose it for the location, near the airport as I only needed it for one night. The room was clean and very spacious and had everything I needed. Parking is free and convenient to the airport. If you have a car it is not far from beaches and attractions too

Room Tip: Don't expect much in the way of complimentary breakfast but otherwise exceeded expectations

Good Morning whc200!

We are grateful for our guests to take the time to review our hotel. Thank you so very much for doing so!

We are glad you were happy with your stay. Parking is indeed free, but for those who do not have access to a car, there are plenty of options to get around. There are public transportation that are readily available, especially to the airport, as well as, taxis.

Our complimentary breakfast is standard, but there are plenty of places to eat around the area. Just down the street is Melo's Burgers. They sell anywhere from breakfast to tacos and burgers. And if you want more of a diner style feel, Denny's is located close by, along with a Norma's on Century and Hawthorne.

Thank you once again for reviewing us. We hope that we see you around again sometime!

This hotel is clean and has modern conveniences in the room that I didn't expect, including fridge, microwave, flat screen TV and big bathroom. Front desk staff were friendly. Problem is the neighborhood, which isn't the best, but then most are probably staying here for one night pre or post flight from LAX so exploring the local area is probably not a priority. There is no airport shuttle, and a cab as about 17USD. IT is possible to walk to the hotel from the airport. I takes about 20-25 minutes straight down Century Blvd.

Good Morning craig_traveler!

First, and foremost, we would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to review our hotel. It means a lot to us that our guests give us feedback.

We try to keep all our rooms up to date and we appreciate you for taking a notice to that. Our staff members try their best to make sure guests are comfortable with their stay. We have heard about how our hotel isn't situated in an ideal location, but it is safe. There is only one entrance and exit and those doors are locked at a certain time.

Although we do not have shuttle service, taxis are not hard to come by. Guests are more than welcomed to let the Front Desk know and we can make arrangements on their behalf. Thank you for addressing how long it would take to walk from our hotel to the airport. That is more budget friendly option, aside from public transportation, so other guests reading this can take that into consideration.

Once again, thank you for your time and effort into reviewing Value Inn Worldwide- LAX. We look forward to see you again in the future!

This establishment surprised me. The neighborhood is less than desired, but it's not bad. Other hotels, Comfort inn and Best Western Plus Suites are within 2-3 blocks away, on the same street, and you would pay at least $50-80 more. The room is clean, bedding is clean, and the room is newly renovated. Room equipped with coffee maker, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, flat screen TV, free wi-fi, free parking. The breakfast, however, is really basic: toast, packaged jams, 2 kinds of cereal, milk, coffee & tea. Panda Express and Polo Loco are nearby.
LAX is close by, less than 3 miles. I'm not sure if this hotel offer free shuttle, but taxi cost would be low.
Overall, for the price we paid, it is surely a winner.

Room Tip: Choose a room farther from the street.

Good Morning KatherineSJ,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Some do think the neighborhood is less desirable, but we do our best to make sure our guests are safe and comfortable as possible. As you stated, our breakfast includes only the basics, but as you pointed out, there are plenty of places around to grab a bite to eat within walking distance.

Unfortunately, we do not have shuttle service. A taxi ride from the airport to our hotel is around $20, and the trip back is around $15. There is also the option of public transportation, which is only $1.75 per person.

Once again, thank you for comments about our hotel. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Los Angeles!

I've stayed in several, and this is the best America's Best Value Inn that I have ever stayed in. It is modern, clean, spacious, comfortable, relatively new, a great value, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: All rooms are a great value!

The room was clean, well presented and very close to LAX but the neighbourhood was very unwelcoming and we felt very unsafe even waking to the bus stop. Sleeping was next to impossible as there were people yelling outside all night and a lot of sirens and traffic noise. There were also people chatting loudly and slamming doors until about 1am. We were supposed to stay three nights but ended up moving hotels after one night. Having said that, the staff were very nice and understanding.
