The wine you like is unique to you and as I tell my friends, there are no wrong answers when it comes to finding a wine that appeals to your palate. Muscardini stands out among Sonoma wineries because the varietals it offers are not the typical Zinfandels, Pinots and Chardonnays that you see in the area. Instead, you have the opportunity to taste varietals that are common in Italy.

James Williams led our experience in the tasting room. This is the only tasting room where my glass was cleansed and rinsed with the next wine I was tasting before the tasting was poured into the glass. This ensures that you are tasting the wine that was poured and not a blend of that wine and all the wines that proceeded it. James was extremely knowledgeable about each wine, the terroir, the foods to pair with, etc. His passion truly showed through. Even though the tasting room was crowded on the day we visited, he skillfully served each visitor devoting enough time to each.

We stopped here after a recommendation from VJB and I'm so happy we did! The vibe is much different than other wineries but that is what we loved about it! They were playing Drake and Rhianna while conducting tastings and we really enjoyed the music! The guys there sampling were SO awesome and gave us great tastings and awesome recs and we purchased 4 bottles - 3 reds and 1 bubbly. Whoever said its not worth stopping for probably wasn't a fan of the vibe. You can't not be a fan of the wines because their reds were some of the best in our 3 days in wine country! Stop here and you'll have a blast!

Heard about this place from one of the wineries we stopped at. Some different varietals but nothing worth buying and most of their offerings were overpriced,

We had a great experience in the tasting room here. James was doing the pouring and he was exceptionally knowledgeable. We had stopped here a few years ago and ended up buying a case of the tesoro (a red blend). We wanted to see if we could get some more because we liked it so much. We found out that we were not the only ones who liked it because it won many awards. We ended up tasting, and buying, many different wines and enjoying all of them. This is definitely worth a stop. Especially if James is pouring for you.
