I stayed at this hotel for one night with my husband and parents. We all had a good time and enjoyed our stay. The outside onsen were very nice. The buffet dinner was also great with unlimited crab legs and lots of other food.

We booked 4 persons in one room with meal at room. Its about Yen 15k per person per night. No problem with check in as one of the receptionist is able to speak mandarin. We rented a car in Hokkaido and hence we do not have any problem to go to the hotel. But due to late arrival, we are not allow to enjoy our meal in the room as they have set up the sleeping material. Therefore, we had our dinner at the restaurant. The food portion is very big and they served fresh and good quality food.
They have both nice indoor and outdoor onsen.
Unfornately, the hotel own website in only in Japanese language. Therefore, for foreigner like will face difficulty for reservation. But i am lucky to have collegue who can read japanese to help us to make reservation.

The hotel location is great as it's opposite to the bus terminal and the beginning of the shopping street. There are two seperate (both outdoor and indoor) public bahts for male and female, and they switch the uses of both public bahts (between male and female) everyday so you can enjoy the view of both sides. They provide three-to-four types of hot spring like salt, sulphur and iron.

Like other Japanese hotels in small cities, their staff can't communicate well in English. Breakfast and dinner were included in my room rate. Both breakfast and dinner were a bit under my expectation as I used to stay in other hotels (with Onsen) of the same price range that offered grand buffet meals. Anyway, they weren't bad at all.

Jigokudani is about 10-min walk. I spent a total 3 hours hiking along the walking trail which was worth my effort and time. Oyunuma was awesome.

All in all, I had a pleasant stay
