Lunch at Dukes was very enjoyable. Appetizers were very good, coconut shrimp and crab wontons. We sat outside with outdoor heaters and it was very comfortable. Split a fish and chips for lunch and it was pretty good but very greasy.

We were here for breakfast and we're lucky to score one of the patio tables overlooking the bay. This is a great spot for breakfast with good food, service and a view that can't beat. Sunset dinner must be amazing. Great central La Jolla location.

First went to Dukes in Hawaii and loved it. La Jolla is just as good.
Always a fun and satisfying experience. Everything is great at this place.
Come and enjoy. Save some room and share the Hula pie, it’s Amazing!

Dukes is situated on prime real estate in San Diego with a billion dollar view of the ocean and shoreline. Staff are very friendly and will assist you with menu choices if you're not sure about something. Their appetisers are a bit on the small side but what they lack in size they make up in quality.

Parking is a bit of a challenge if you are looking to find a spot on the street; valet services abound as well as public parking.

Ate outside on the patio overlooking the sea on a sunny winter evening. Although quiet, the atmosphere was pleasant and food pretty tasty (not brilliant, but better than average). Menu is reasonably varied; we started on the afternoon snack menu and moved onto the dinner menu. Wine and beer selection was also good.
