we went here this morning, and i was speechless with the history content of the place. the fact that they kinda moved the 3 historic buildings from other areas gave additional amazement to this heritage site. i would recomment you to come to the free guided tour (done by volunteers! - check the schedule from the website) to be able to see inside the historical buildings =)

There are four historic structures here: the adobe which is on its original site, an old home, an old school and an old church.

All are interesting, but you have to be on a tour to see inside the old home.

Site is accessed by parking in a lot associated with the neighboring shopping center.

Well worth a visit when you are in the area.

Note that this is closed Sundays and on holidays.

Every year they have an Old Fashioned Christmas with Carolers and tour of the original home and church and school house, like a lifetime movie! Great to bring the family, also at Halloween , they have the people that do all the decorations, costumes etc. same as Knotts scary farm, its very fun and lots to do

I took our of town guest here for a local visit. The park is next to a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. The park is free. The park consist of two houses, an early school and a church that have been relocated from other sites around old El Toro to the property. There was an audio explanation of each building that describes life in those times. The property itself is very pretty and we enjoyed it very much. This historical park is practically in your backyard!!
