Camped here after having a day at the Kate Wolf Music Festival. Stacy met us when we arrived early in the morning to set up our spot, and right away we felt like old pals -- she was very welcoming, laid-back and friendly. We walked around a bit together to see various spots where we could set up our tent, and she insisted that we drive up to the lake to see it, saying we could camp up there if we wanted to. So we drove up and around on the dirt road that surrounded the lake and finally stopped on the far side, not sure where a good camping spot would be, but decided to camp at a more accessible spot since we'd be coming back late at night after the day's music. HOWEVER, the lake was incredibly inviting in the warm sunshine, and we were the only people around, so I immediately peeled down and had a truly wonderful swim. The lovely, private camping spot we picked next to the lower pond afforded us a great night's sleep. We tried to identify the different little critter sounds we heard in the night and the morning. As we were camping only for one night, we packed up our gear in the morning and drove back up to the lake for our coffee and another delicious swim -- the dock provided a great little spot for coffee brewing! We'll definitely come back here! The property is beautiful: green hills, trees, water bodies -- very peaceful.
Note that there are a couple of large houses on the property to rent as well.
