We love this place and try to go 2-3 times per month.
Love the sushi rolls, the rice and and the cold beers.
Service is awesome and we feel so well taken care of whenever we dine there.

Just enjoyed dinner at a small local restaurant serving great Peruvian dishes and a wide variety of traditional and specialty Sushi. Kotosh in Lomita served up a great meal. Platos Peruanos included Pollo Saltado sauteed chicken, onions, tomatoes and french fries. Tallarin Saltado - same ingredients just sub spaghetti for the fries. Jalea Mixta - mixed seafood and fried fish served in a delicious broth with salsa criolla and rice. Don't forget the green sauce. If you love sushi - Kotosh has at least 40 different types to chose from. Try the Machu Picchu roll with Shrimp Tempura and avocado topped with tuna, spicy mayo, garlic, lime and soy sauce - YUM. We'll need to visit several times to try all the interesting dishes. Service was great, parking is limited, alcohol is available, be prepared to wait. Took some time to get our food - but was worth the wait. ENJOY!

I was told that this restaurant serves "Japanese Peruvian Fusion," and while there are hints of the fusion in the cuisine, it really stands out as a Japanese and/or Peruvian restaurant. It is a small restaurant tucked away in a stripmall, but it is worth your time and effort to visit. The service was very fast, friendly, and done with a smile. The restaurant has a sushi bar, if you would rather belly up to that, but there is also plenty of seating; although, you may want to call ahead to be certain.

Should you wish to visit, head down Lomita from Crenshaw and turn into the last driveway right before Pennsylvania Ave. The restaurant is on the left. Parking is a bit cramped.

As for the cuisine, I tried both the sashimi and a Peruvian dish, and enjoyed every delectable bite of both. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and if I ever visit Torrance or the surrounding area again, I will definitely make a trip to this fantastic restaurant.
