We were a party of four and seated ourselves in the outdoor section, which has a nice view. The menu is extensive and heavy on seafood as you would expect. After waiting 15 minutes for our server to appear, my husband approached the area where they congregate and asked for service. Madison, our server, appeared at last.

We ordered a bucket of crab, fried calamari, fries, Caesar salad and chicken wings. All but two of them were okay.

A restaurant that has crab as part of its name should have excellent crab...not the case here. First off, it’s frozen, which makes it watery, limp and detrimentally alters the flavor. The menu promised a pound of crab. The bucket arrived with 3 very thin, spindly King crab legs, definitely not a pound. They weren’t cracked as is customary, but a cracker was provided. It was impossible to crack the legs since they were like rubber. A small bowl of what looked to be drawn butter was room temperature, not warmed as it should have been. After a couple of dunks with ice cold, watery crab, the butter congealed. Management needs to institute some quality control here. Thirty dollars for 3 crab legs is highway robbery when it’s barely edible and far short of the promised pound.

The other disaster was the fries: cold, limp and tasteless. We told our server how bad they were. We expected she would offer to delete them from our check since we only ate about 3 of them. She did not, so my husband told her she needed to do that. She airily replied she didn’t realize we wanted them off the check. She needs server lessons.

I am giving the place the benefit of the doubt. They may have been having an off night and a server who fell way short of good service. We won’t order the crab again or sit at Madison’s station, but will try other things on the menu.

We've actually been here twice in the past two weeks. Hadn't been here in a while and were in the area, so we decided to stop in at the bar for a quick bite. The shrimp salad and clam chowder were excellent, so we brought friends back the following weekend for dinner and a stroll along the marina. We'll definitely be back more often.

We were there Saturday, June16th in the late afternoon/early evening with a group of us. We sat outside and had a nice view of the boats. We didn't have to wait, not too crowded. Our server was GREAT! We had EXCELLENT service! I wish I could remember her name! The drinks were good and the bread was DELICIOUS! Outdoor patio for drinks is a MUST!
