We heard about the High Hand Nursery from some friends, so we decided to stop and see for ourselves. And we were very happy that we did. The place is located in an old warehouse and packing plant, and there is much more to see than one would expect driving by. We thoroughly enjoyed sampling all of the olive oils and couldn't resist taking some home. There are shops with garden ornaments, rugs, and home decorations of all types. Out doors, the nursery is quite large, and if one likes looking at plants this is the place to be. We'll be back sometime to eat in the restaurant, as it looked great.

We loved wandering through all the gardens and greenhouses. The selection of flora and accessories was lovely. They offer wonderful accessories as well. Be sure to visit all the garden, olive oil, textile, jewelry and rug shops in the old packing warehouse! It’s a fun way to spend a couple of hours and Garner ideas for your garden.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch with 15 of my high school friends (1966) today at the cafe. Not only is the setting the perfect atmosphere but the service was excellent. We had a variety of items from the menu and all were delicious. Austin provided us with top notch service and a pleasing personality!

What a wonderful treat it was to visit the High Hand Nursery and Cafe. My daughter, granddaughter and I arrived in time for lunch. I was visiting from out of town and really enjoy eating at places we don't have at home. My daughter especially loved the salmon!!!!! The atmosphere was so unique and the waitress was friendly and attentive. We then strolled through the nursery and gift shop. It made for a great day!!!!!!!!! Please go if you have the chance.

Parking for the nursery can be a challenge on weekends for this place, and from the street it doesn't look nearly as breathtaking as it really is once you are inside. Huge variety with highly knowledgable staff that are friendly and helpful. Lots of specialty plants and flowers in addition to all the staples. So much to see and do here, so plan on several hours!
