This was such a pleasant surprise considering its proximity to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you find yourself in the hot LA sun and craving something sweet, you should definitely make a stop here. I cannot speak on the quality of their savory waffles, but I can only imagine they are amazing based on their sweet counterparts.

I was sooo excited when this place opened and the waffles looked so yummy. But tasting it - ewww. The waffle was cold and hard, difficult to chew. It ruined the whole thing. The toppings are pointless if the waffle is bad.

This review is for the Wafflejack in the Hollywood and Highland Center on the 3rd level.

This looks Ike a cute place with pictures of very appetizing choices. The reality is very different. The only redeeming factor here is the friendly staff who was doing their best to make the most out of a very challenging situation.

The first red flag was they had no strawberries. This was the main ingredient in the waffle creation I chose. Second red flag was that the waffles are made from balls of sticky, elastic dough that is pressed between the waffle iron, instead of pourable batter. The resulting thing that comes out is a gummy gross waffle shaped blob trying to be a waffle.

The whole concoction was so unappetizing and inedible it was almost making me gag. So if you are walking around Hollywood and Highland looking for a snack, walk right past this place! The pictures will draw you in, but believe me, just keep walking.

I tried the bacon mac and cheese waffle and the BBQ chicken waffle and they were both worth the money. The only downside is the cartons in which it is served. It's hard to eat without making a mess.

I have the best waffle here at this place, customer service and the food was great. If you like waffle i would highly recommend to try out this place. I have their OG w/ cream cheeses and it was so good that i came back everyday til my trips end in California. It not your original everyday waffle that you have at home or at other waffle places.
