I was first hesitating between this hotel and the other Marriott across the street, but I chose this one because it might be my only trip in LA in my life. Once you enter the lobby, there is a good atmosphere in it. A lot of eating and drinking option around the lobby. You are happy to stay at this hotel just by seing the lobby.
Their pool was closed during 2 of the 3 days we were there. No problem, they directed Customer to the Ritz Carlton lobby and they gave us a card to access the pool area of the Ritz, which has awesome view from LA. Both pool were great.
We had club lounge access with our room. If you have the lounge monday-thursday, they serve delicious entrees, cheese and more at 5:30 PM. You also have breakfast in it monday-friday. For the breakfast in the week-end, if you have a lounge access, they give you a voucher you can use to eat at the Ford Filling station, a restaurant located in the lobby. The voucher is for the buffet. Our server, Debbie, made sure we had everything we need and asked us if we wanted pancake/waffle from the kitchen (which was included too)More
