“The best sight-seeing tour in L.A!”

The Rasta Bus was recommened to us by friends we had met in Santa Monica. We decided to take the tour and it was really good fun and value for money, being a backpacker i'm always looking for a bargain! We got to see all the things we wanted to in one day! This was definitely the best way to get around as the local buses and trains arent that great. I can't wait to get back to Santa Monica again, i had the best time there. :)

“What a fun day!!”

Our guide was very warm and friendly, extremely knowledgeable and full of interesting stories. Suggested this to my my 22 year-old daughter by sending her the Web link. She said yeah and we're really glad we did it. This is a upstart outfit run by young folks who aim to be the best. They are well on their way IMO. Haven't done an other tours in LA but can't see how any of them would be any better. The guide made us feel like we were college buddies that got together - very welcoming. The lunch stop is at the Farmer's Market - not the kind you'd think, it was an under-roof place with dozens of awesome places to eat. And did I mention this is a great value relative to the other tour companies? Choose this tour; you won't be disappointed.

“Great Value Flexible Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2012

We had one day to fill in LA and this tour was perfect for us. We got to see all the must sees in LA before we had to fly out that evening. Highlight was the Farmers Markets where there was a great selection of food and we found a great coffee place!
Our host, Aaron was really laid back and we appreciated all the extra tips on what was and wasn't worth seeing. Aaron also made our day by returning our cell phone to the airport (!!) after we accidently left it behind on the Rasta Bus. We had happened to mention who we were flying with on the bus during the tour and he made sure the phone was left at the check in counter of our airline, unbelievable service!!

“Super laid back and fun!”

The bus was great, much more interesting than your standard plain white bus with an old grumpy driver! Jake was awesome, very chill and knowledgeable, make sure you ask him for dinner recommendations, El cholo was great! We got to see pretty much the entire city and I even went back to some of the places later. Griffith park in particular, it's a shame other tours don't go there, best views in the city! Thanks again to everyone at rastabus!

“Great tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 February 2012

We took the all day tour in February 2012 and was very pleased with our choice. We had one day to "see" everything and this group does a great job of covering a wide selection. They were very good about staying on time at all the stops without rushing anyone. Our guide and driver were very friendly and asked several times to let them know if anyone had something specific they wanted to see. We saw everything listed on their website plus a few extras. The price was extremely reasonable and the booking process was quick and easy. We had our 16 year old daughter with us and she also enjoyed the tour.
The seats in the bus are facing inward in a "U" shape which makes it very difficult to see out your window as you are constantly straining to look over your shoulder or actually turning around in your seat. I understand the premise behind the seating - bringing everyone together, sharing conversations, etc., but, for me, I would have preferred more conventional seating. Also, they play great music throughout the tour - a lot of it relating to that specific part of the tour - which was enjoyable, but some of the songs might be offensive to some people.
Overall, it was a very relaxing, entertaining tour that let us see what we wanted to see in a short period of time and I strongly recommend this group.

First off, thanks for choosing to tour with us! We take feedback from our guests very seriously. We have had mixed opinions in regards to our seating arrangement (many more positive than negative - hence the current arrangement).

Many people love it as it fosters meeting other like minded travelers and helps create an open dialogue between the travelers and the tour guide - We like the idea that everyone is involved collectively in our day excursion. I do however, understand your complaint and we are looking into a way to address it... Possibly having dual formats (in-line seating and communal seating).

Thanks again for your input and for choosing us! Safe Travels!
