Best breakfast in LA hands down. Ate a croque monsieur and my wife got porridge. Both were extremely delicious. Bread is fantastic and we highly recommend this place for either breakfast or lunch/dinner. Keep up the good work!

Be prepared to wait. Our wait on a Tuesday around 12.30-1 wasn't bad. Mediterranean soup great and big enough to share. Bread with olive oil delish. 5oz fish plate perfect. Latte ok and on smallish side. Vegetables that came with fish were great. Parking fee? Not sure as we snagged street parking - cue trumpets! Have been wanting to come here forever and was not disappointed. Service? You find seat and food brought to you. There's also to go counter. Only thing that irked me was amount of flies outside and that they did run out of water often, outside. Trendy and busy place for sure.

Be prepared to wait in line for your meal at Gjusta. Make sure to grab a "number" when you enter the restaurant as you order at their deli counter by number. It is a bit chaotic and confusing your first couple of times, but you will get used to it. They have wonderful salads, sandwiches, entrees, and pastry items. Seating is limited, so make sure to keep your eye out for an open table and grab it. If you want a quiet lunch spot, this might not be the place for you, but it is definitely worth the bit of frustration. Enjoy!

This place has sprung up in a former industrial setting and food wasteland on the edge of the Venice Beach area. It is quite a welcome addition!

The food is ordered at a counter when your number is called, almost deli style, with a wide variety of very tasty food on display or being prepared behind the counter. There is something for everyone and frankly I had a hard time deciding. There is salmon, salads, falafel, and tons more, all nicely prepared. Food is then brought out your table, literally a picnic table on a gravel surface that is often shared with others, but hey, it's all good and the local hip scene is eating it up!
