When in Los Gatos just after lunch at 2 or so I drop in to have a great drink, very fresh oysters and a terrific shrimp salad with avocado!
It is always great, oysters very fresh!
Love the little bar feel, and the LSU, New Orleans and other decor from the area they represent.
Dessert was a wonderful pecan pie with homemade vanilla ice cream..

Thank Josmshank

I don't quite get the attraction of this place, other than the need to be seen at an "in": place. Yes, the food is very, very good. But it's small and uncomfortably crowded and noisy, and the prices are simply unnecessary and insulting. That said, we enjoyed the great po'boys and other examples of New Orleans cooking. But "awesome cocktails? - hardly. Or jumping up and down about the gumbo? Have these customers been eating at Denny's for most of their lives? One experience here is enough.

Legit southern fare here including cocktails and chicory coffee! Tiny restaurant so go on a non busy week day or early evening say 5:30. We've tried almost everything and love the food..it's pricey but just like being in New Orleans! Desserts yummy, salads delicious and chicken a must.

If you crave the big flavors of New Orleans, cajun cooking, this is the place to wake up your taste buds. The entrance of this casual eatery is draped with Mardi gras beads to set the stage for some gumbo that will have you speaking creole and dancing in the aisles. All manner of other choices are available such as fried chicken and Po'Boys. (The oysters are harvested west coast small.) They even serve homemade beignets upon request. Seating is limited so I suggest reservations. During good weather, they have a back patio. They serve lunch Tuesday through Friday and dinner Tuesday through Saturday with a Brunch on Sunday.
